Well, the time has come. After numerous phone calls and request I have given this serious thought. Effectively immediately I will be accepting Winchester M70/FN SPR Rifle Receivers for complete builds and or re-barreling jobs. Thanks to all for your support.

I simply prefer Remington 700's or Customs but, there is a huge following for the Win M70. I'm simply providing a service to those individuals.

William is good and honest...my build got put on hold (due to new house and baby on the way), but when the only 1,000 yard range in Louisiana (in the shop) talks about him (positively) and random members at the range do as well...i have personally dealt with Mr. Roscoe, he is good to go

This is good news for m70 fans and I applaud you for your decision. I find it troubling that many of these new/easy road gunsmiths will only work on Remington style actions. Several years ago a gunsmith would not have the option of not working on claw type actions and still pay the rent.

I prefer the model 70 to the 700, but just am completing a transformation to 700s for selection of goods and selling off the model 70s.
