Just got my T4, and the need to get a rail so I can mount my BT10-LW17. I figure that because the 2 swivel studs are 3 1/2" apart, I will need to use a BT17 4" 1913 rail. Would like to see a few pics if anyone has any.
Thanks,
Chris

I have Seekins on my H-S stock right now, but it won't fit the T4, its spacing is not enough. Glen's rails are spaced 2" apart for H-S and 3" apart for McMillan, the Manners is 3 1/2".

I saw the how to method awhile back, my T4 already has two swivel studs, I am looking for anyone that used the 4" rails on existing studs.

Manners usually imbeds a metal plate behind studs. Since you have two studs, it may be a single plate which will give you more rail mounting options. I would call Tom and find out more.

Factory MCM uses 3.25" spacing and Manner's uses 3.5" spacing. The Seekins rail fits the MCM spacing and the Accu-shot BT17 fits the Manners. I believe either MCM or Manners will drill the sling stud spacing in any location if requested but those are the default numbers.
I had Manners install the sling stud 3.25" apart so I could use the Seekins rail. My preference is not to have a swivel on the bottom of the forend.
