Barrel length?

lee this is a heck of a deal I think it is just hard to sell a single shot on here unless its a monster caliber. however this is a beautiful combo. shoot the action cost almost as much the combo new.

who put the barreled action together?

Ya this should make a real shooter. I can include a new shilen trigger as well for a very small price.. I would use it myself, but it is going to come up a bit short in weight for my build i have planned. I want a 17# 600 yard benchrifle, so i need a bit bigger action. It will take all the cash from selling this barreled action just to buy a new Model B BAT action, not to mention a trigger a Barrel and to have Jon Beanland chamber it. It was just machined that way. No reason! Looks good!! I think anyway. The gentleman i bought this barreled action off of wanted the bolt knob put on, and chris did a very nice job of doing so. All the work on this barreled action is first class. Very very nice!! Lee

i just ordered a new firing pin spring from BAT for this action as well. If this barreled action doesnt sell by Sunday i am going to keep it and shoot it myself. Heck of a deal here fellas! You really need to feel how smooth these BAT action are to appreciate there quality. I just sold my Hall 6ppc so i no longer need to sell this but i will give it a couple more days. All the Bat actions I've had are incredibly smooth. I'm sure this will make a fine shooter.

Man, I dont even shoot BR or Fclass but this deal has me thinking it might be time to do so! Nice combo and good price. And, if it was in a cartridge I already shot, dang, would be tempting!

its a great action folks! I may have mentioned this but i polished it last night as i figured i was going to just keep the darn thing. I can post a pic if anyone wants to see it. It isnt going to stay here long. I have a stock for it, and if it doesnt sell soon its going to the smith for a beading job. this week. Better make up your mind because once i send it off its mine!! I am going prairie dog hunting and wanted to build a new switch barrel rig for the trip and i wanted to use a new stiller p-1000 for the job, only reason i am selling this. A 6.5x47L isnt the best choice for prairie dog n My prairie dog rig will also double as a 600 yard rifle. I am going to do a 22br and a 6br with the new action. I ordered the action on Thursday and it will be here sometime this week. Should be cool!! Lee

Ok i need to update this post a little since i first listed it. I bought the action used and had plans on keeping it. The action was used very little but i still felt i needed to replace all working parts inside the bolt. It didnt need it but i always do this any time i buy a used action weather it needs it or not. Anyway i replaced the firing pin firing pin spring and sear. all parts are brand new and i have the receipt from BAT. The action also has a badger 20moa rail that has been beaded for a perfect fit. It also has a badger tactical bolt knob that looks really good and gives you something to grab on to. This action was ordered from bat in a little special way. It has a bit more bolt clearance than some of the other BAT actions to allow for field use or bench use its just a tad bit looser, but not on lockup. BAT doesnt ever change that. Bat also told me it will not effect accuracy in the least!! Some folks just like it that way. Its a great little action!! This action was on a 308 tactical type rifle with mcmillan stock. This is a wonderful action i just need to go with something a bit different. I can offer this action up without a trigger but still with the trigger hanger and some brass for 1400 shipped. Keep in mind this is a brand new barrel that hasn't been fired. You will have to do a barrel brake in if you choose to do so. I do it but i dont think it matters much as all my Krieger barrels clean up after just a few shots. Nice little barreled action here for someone wanting the one shot precision rifle.
