Trim & quick pointing 17 Remington Mod. 84. repeater 24" barrel. I have used little, doubt it has more than 150 rounds through it. Checkered butt plate. Checkering is crisp.

Very accurate. Trigger pull wt unknown, but light & crisp w/ no overtravel. Mauser type bolt. Bluing is PERFECT-deep black. Last use by me 1/2 " group @ 150 yds with factory ammo.

Includes Talley bases. 1" rings available. Includes 100 rds HSM loaded 25g Berger HP. Some marks of use- little rust on butt plate & bottom of hinged mag plate. little dings right side of stock-hard to see, really.

2 very small scratches in bbl midway. Crown & bore excellent. Barrel is a mid weight contour. Includes Dewey .17 cal rod & jags, brushes. No trades for now, please.

Sell for $1200.00 inc. 100 rds ammo, shipping inc in CONUS. Shipped in doskocil case. **also listed for sale on another site 2/6/2010**

Thank you! It has a "made by hand" feel. The triggerguard alone is a work of art, but just don't use it much...

Steve123, here is your chance, ha, ha...this little cartridge is quite loud & over 4000 fps (I am told)... recoil, none. Shoot it when it's calm, though...

Man that is a nice rifle.

I just sold a Sako A1 sporter in 17 Rem, and picked up a Sako 75 sporter in 17 Rem. I must resist. <chuckle>

thanks, maybe the wrong audience for this type rifle, but have had such great dealings on SH & the integrity level of people buying/selling here is superb. I have 3 Sako 75's - really like them.

The ONLY thing holding me back is I have a Sako in 17 Rem and a Cooper in 17 Mach IV. This would look very nice next to them in the safe. Not sure wny you don't like shooting a 25gr pill in the wind. It is there before the wind has time to affect it. This would make someone a GREAT varmint rifle. Wish I was in the market!!!!!!!

LOL,I still have some 17 brass from years ago.If it were summer, my busy season,I'd be tempted. Not much spending $ right now.No PD's to shoot right now either.

I bet it won't last long.

Not the wrong audience, most of us all are hunters, only takes one, and new people joining everyday wink

thanks gents for the comments. I use my 22-250, .204 & 223 mostly &
have too many guns crammed in the safe. I put several small dents in the stock just getting in/ out of the safe...

MLC, thanks for the heads-up on Saubier...The salesman @ the store where I bought it told me that I would be able to see the bullet hit on GH's, as there was no recoil...don't doubt it-well, I have not done that, but on a crow, it was unbelievable....

SR25jdiaz hey you made my day! I have a Sako 6PPC, too. It's a mod. 75, lam stock, fluted ss bbl. I took it PD shooting this past fall & had a blast with it. As far as the Kimber, well, it's a beautiful thing to a specific market. I am asking exactly what I paid for it. Oddly enough, these rifles appear from time to time at my local-shop in Connecticut. And a lot of nice old Mod 70's Winchesters. Will sell it on GB no doubt in a while. Keep me posted. Rather sell here-for less.

when you want to tag that yote in .1875 sec. after pulling the trigger, this is the ticket. that's at 250 yds. 4000fps. In style, with a rifle made 5 years before CNC was even a glimmer of a concept. X & Y axis, still just for NASA, at that time. I have written a short novel here in the aggregate. Offers?

Nice score Freddy. Took a squirrel with mine last saturday at 110 yards. Got to watch the exit splatter and just about deheaded the little booger. You know he still held onto that tree for a good 5 seconds with no head. That little round flys.
.22's and .22 mags usually knock em off.

Ah, OK, you are correct sir(s). --there are a lot of rifle buyers this winter, myself included. The rifles for sale on SH are the best of the best...!
