There was quite a few shooters out today checking there zero at the range. Looks like there will be a good turn out for the Tiger Valley team match. We got a little intel today. We will be shooting a total of 8 stages tomorrow and one big stage on Sunday. Stay tune for more updates.

Today was a long day. We did 3 run and gun stages and another long range stage. Talk about doing dynamic shooting, some of the run and gun require teams to engage targets with pistol, carbine and precision rifle. A good match so far.

Bro I,m so sorry i let you down at last minute, i was already to go truck loaded with gear etc
Then it hit me wife said she could see color draining from my face said i just turned very pale
I knew what was coming had her call mark n get your contact info i couldnt think straight enuff to locate it.
Dizzy/pounding headache and blackout
Spent Sat in bed taking meds, standing just made it worst.
I,m very upset i let you down in this manner, guess its time to convert to F class n BR style shooting.
Mind was willing but body cant follow thru, i hope you had a great time and shot well, who was i kidding sounds like i would of been a hindrance to your performance alot of run n gun.....we know i cant do that.
Sorry for fucking this up for you, hope we can still shoot together in non tactical arena, understand if ya dont want to.
Whoever shot with Wil thnx for covering for my limp dik ass, hope you guys rocked.

just got in... had a freaking blast with everyone!

1) Thanks TJ, fun as always. You should have seen the work he put into building the shoot houses. It was impressive.

2) Brett, Ben, Bruce and all other ROs did a great job of keeping things moving and on track.

3) Thanks to the sponsors! Had a great prize table with lots of cool toys. I got a killer Eagle drag bag I am real happy with.

who ever it was that thought of the low crawling stage.... not so much... joking..... sort of

Lesson leaned - do not run South African ball .308 in a 10T for cheap stuff to blast close range. Especially after JV and Nomag put their pox on it. Dirty shit gummed me up so bad the buffer spring couldn't push the bolt carrier into battery... lost a butt load of points because of it.. kept reaching for the forward assist and their ain't one..lol

I'm ready to do it again yall!

+100000 on everything (capt i got hit in the balls) AKA CKA said and just for the record NOmag was unable to make this match so his twin brother took his place (aka nobrain, nodope, noskill, noholster, and the list could go on) but NOmag fucked up so bad that he can not admit he was there.

NOmag's twin/alter ego had a great time and got to spend some time with old friends and meet many new ones!!!!!!

Airone got a great video of NOmags twin/alter egos ass that will be posted in the next couple of days .

NOmags alter ego also witnessed BOLTRIPPER (aka HEAD BRASS WHORE) collecting brass in flip flops with his tone nails painted PINK!!!) Nothing better then a full on brass whore with pink toes!!! sorry bolt but I had to rat you out again!

All in all had a great time and meet a lot of people and if we could keep chadtrg42 from snoring we could have slept much better. The sound of a dying caribou is nothing to his snoring!!

Thanks to everyone at Tiger valley and cant wait to do it again!!!

AND YES YOU HAVE TO SHOOT FROM INSIDE THE FUCKING HOOLA HOOP!!!! IF the RO says IT FUCKING DO IT AND DONT ASK THE SAME FUCKING QUESTION 15 FUCKING TIMES!!!!!!!!!!!!

PS if the ro says dont move with a mag in your gun take the damn thing out before you put a live round in the chamber and start running!!!

NOmags alter ego is now done ranting!!!

Congrats to everyone that was there

Good times guys! Congrats to the winners and many thanks to our hosts and sponsors.

I didn't get to witness it, but I heard from several sources that we had pukers on the cooper tunnel stage. Anyone get that on camera? cool

Thanks to my partner, Shadow4. It's always good to shoot with you bro! We'll learn from our mistakes and move on.

Good match with plenty of side-line comedy.

The Blackwell's had a great time as well, alot of good shooters and good guys out there this weekend. TJ and crew did a great job as always, the stages were good also, except for the cooper tunnel...that was unnecessary and my knees hate the person that thought of that. Congrats to the top guys. I'm already looking foward to the next one.

Congratulations Tim and John! You guys shot well. Good show.

To TJ and the entire crew, thanks for a really excellent match.

To Roy, Chris, Pete and all the others that helped point me in the right directions and shared Gatoraid, thank you very much for taking the time.

Lee, turn the CAPS off dude.

Scott, thanks for standing in for Jim when he couldn't make it. Good shooting and I really enjoyed teaming with you.

Sorry I couldn't stay for the meal and awards. My phone was ringing while I was busy shooting a zero on the last stage at 1000 with news about a nice busted water line back at my place. 6 hours after leaving you guys, I was in a 4ft hole fixing a water line with my son. Would have much rather stayed for the meal and awards so I could clap for Tim and John on a full stomach.

Good to see and meet a lot of new shooters.

Best to all,
Terry

Not a problem.
My personal observation is that under stress of time constraints, some people forget the basics and just took the shots.
The stages were fast and furious which makes it hard to remember to do everything you do during practice. Example, Wind reading went right out the window, more then a few people had the wrong dope dialed in, didn't take into account change in temp from when they did their 7am 100 yard zero at 65f, then proceeded to shoot 1K yards at 95F.
Look at some of the other shooters comments about the 1K shoot. The knew exactly what they did wrong "AFTER" shooting. There were a lot of clean "Un hit" targets from that stage by shooters that I know are top notch shooters.

This goes to show that firing under stress is a whole different world then shooting from a bench or 20 minute prone stage to take 20 shots.

All that said, my hat's off to all that shot this match. It was not an easy match to shoot by any means.

LOL!! It's from the movie Talladega Nights. If you watch it, you'll understand.

Of course I know what it means. It was a joke. Don't you remember when John Jerod ask what that meant. That is also my favorite movie.

Now to get back on topic. A BIG thanks to TJ and crew for putting on this match. They out did themself again. Also a BIG THANK YOU to the sponsors. They had a good prize table and everyone left with something.

It was pleasure hanging out and shooting with a lot of the Hide members this weekend. I will name a few, but I am sure I will miss some.

Terry (thanks for dinner) Cross, BoltRipper, ToddAC (nice group on the tank)Guy, Chad, Texas Rick, Savage 10X and of course Captian (you can't leave him behind) KickAss.

I cant thank you enough for asking me to team up with you.

SuperBee 950, it was a pleasure. You did well. Now all we have to do is get a comp for your AR and work I little with the rifle.

Congras, to the winners. More later. I will post more photos. I am still at work. cool

This was not my first match, but it was my first rifle match. Sure is a lot different than all the pistol matches I've shot over the years and it was an eye opener for sure! Not to puff you guys up too much, but it seemed to me that the average skill level across the board was much better than most handgun contests.

TJ and crew put on a hell of a match and it was neat to meet and shoot with you guys!
