2009 Sniper's Hide Cup - Calm before the Storm

Sniper's Hide Cup

The weather is perfect, the winds almost non-existent, the sun is just coming up over the tower. This is where the butterflies start to fly, that calm before the storm.

The winds are expected to roll in this afternoon, reaching gusts in the mid 30's, with a high temperature of 95 degrees. Whomever wants to walk away with one of those trophies and potentially a brand new custom GA Precision rifle better get those conditions right, and fast... the first official shot of the match is at 1000 yards on a LaRue knockdown plate. 12" X 22" in high winds... oh my.

The range has been prepped, the targets are all made simply waiting for the holes too appear, it's gonna be a great weekend.
