Everything with these people is political. Everything they do is in pursuit of more personal political power. I am starting to wonder if some of these governors are hopeing to get some wingnut to attempt to kill them, so that they can play the "I'm a survivor of an assignation attempt" card.

Far as I'm concerned, likely god will give then their just desserts.

And since there is no outrage (at least not on ABC, CBS, NBC, CNBC and CNN....) then the left knows that they can move a little further left... And continue down the path of engineering their little social experiment. After all, eugenics is part of progressive ideology. It was settled science in the teens and '20s after all. You know.... settled science.

If it's ok to kill babies, then there is no worries about rationing healthcare and killing off the old people. And there are no worries about gassing those who don't fit into your brave new world. Oh and as part of the new Green Agenda, there are plenty of people saying that some 4 billion people need to be exterminated... in order that mother Gaia will be a happy, healthy wonderland for the stewards. Who will nurture the planet and have lots of lebensraum....

There will be no repercussions... because this is just a test. Push the country a bit further... maybe a one-child policy? Worked for a certain Communist country. How many million baby girls were murdered, because someone wanted a son? In China? To prevent overpopulation in an engineered society?

The next outrages will be greater... and there will be no repercussions. And these crazies will know that they can get away with it. Once upon a time, it started with sterilization laws. And laws against those filthy gypsies... and Masons (those evil plotters.) And the mentally-unstable (including homos... who were regarded as mentally-unstable). Then it was those evil Hebrews. Then Kristallnacht. Then Bergen-Belsen, which was really just kind of a holiday camp. Then the Einsatz-Gruppen. Then the trains.... to the camps. And Dr. Mengele doing experiments on kids, you know... for the greater good.

But, hey, the brainwashed Roe-Wade nutballs think that everything 'reproductive health' is like some kind of giant cattle call... and when those words are whistled... they will flock to their political masters, like the unthinking useful idiots they are.

Well, back to reading history.... someone has to. Best way to be a radical these days... is to understand history. And remind people that while it may not repeat, it sure rhymes a lot...

I'm okay with morning after pills and even early term abortion --they don't need more than a month after finding out to make this decision IMO. But aborting basically fully developed children and severing the spinal cord and what this fucker is advocating is crossing the line. Women should have rights concerning their body but if they've carried it that long, a few more moments ain't gonna hurt. And fuck, they can SELL the kid to a couple that can't have children if they plan it out. I guess I don't get it. Women both have control of their bodies AND children aren't being murdered. It's these all or nothing, black or white arguments, and then bringing religion into it, that just isn't working --the forcing of ideas and actions on another based on yet another group's values.

The only later term ones should be if the mother is at risk. And a born one? Come the fuck on. There probably aren't many doctors that would even do this, but I could wrong. Threaten their licenses and they'll do whatever big brother says without question, regardless of the health implications. Govt. demands apparently trump the Hippocratic oath. And you just can't trust a goddamn oath breaker.

Besides, that Kermit motherfucker went to prison for cutting spinal cords of babies in late term abortions. Basically premature births, with a screaming baby as they cut the back of the neck. Disgusting. This is just as bad.

@Strykervet , your position in one that most Americans would agree on. I think that the most recent polling is that almost 80% of folks support your position or something more restrictive. The thing about us that favor something more restrictive is that it is based on our beliefs that that is a child that God has given to that family, but we would definitely agree with you that anything after first trimester shouldn't be allowed. The thing is that we believe that science will eventually catch up and prove our beliefs that that baby is a human being from the first moment, and the scientific trend is definitely heading that way. I would be absolutely happy to say that abortion should be banned as soon as a sign of life is detectable (heartbeat, pain, hearing, movement, etc) and just leave it up to science but the libs that want to kill kids wont ever leave their jihad against babies up to science.

BTW, don't confuse all religious folks, me included, as some nutjobs who want to come for your condoms or birth control. We just want to make sure that our society stays decent and protects innocent folks. I bet that you and I have both lost people that we know in that struggle on a different front, so don't be worried about our intentions. The nut jobs in any group are always the loudest.

I appreciate the views of both @MK20 and @Strykervet but I am a little different than them and most people. The most enjoyable class I ever had in college was Bio-Medical Ethics and the class consisted of real medical cases presented by the professor followed by writing a paper on the case and a class wide debate. It was very easy to delineate between the people that had an emotional viewpoint and those that looked at the non-emotional implications of the cases presented. Abortion falls smack dab into the middle of emotional vs non-emotional and is a powder keg. I will not go into detail with my thoughts on abortion except that I think late term abortions should be illegal and regardless of the term the abortion occurs there will be a reckoning in that persons here-after.

This country's growing tolerance for the intolerant will end soon enough. Which way it goes is anyone's guess.

Everyday I wake and think that the people of the US will come to their senses and see the innate evil of these mouthpieces that introduce initiatives to pass laws that fly in the face of humanity. I believed for a while that the "waking up" was beginning but I can now see that I was completely and utterly wrong. People are stupid and deserve the outcome that inevitably will happen. This new breed of politician supported by the old breed are no different than Nazis. I know I don't have to remind anyone here how Nazism took hold in Germany. It happened little by little over a long period of time. The mode of thinking became a societal norm and once normal, the despots were elected into power freely.

It is happening here. IMHO, it is truly unstoppable at this point without a cataclysmic event happening. I have a deep visceral hatred of Nazis, Communists and Socialists of any type or form.

I wish the trigger happens sooner than later while I am physically able to defend me and my family.

It all makes me sick to my stomach

Perhaps not. Yet anything we do outside the political process to remove them from power will backfire on us.

Something like 60,000 illegals were found registered to vote in Texas and at least 12,000 in Pa. Making every state insure that only citizens vote, and each only once will go a long way to getting these people out of power. They depend on chicanery to maintain their grip on power, I think fully exposeing them to the light will cause them to shrivel and die. Don't plan on using Facebook or google to do it.
