Kick out all the illegals and stop making all our stuff in other countries.

That will take care of most of the jobs and employment issue.

Minimum wage jobs were originally designed to be a way to get kids into the work force while still living with their parents till they got a bit of work experience and could move up to something better.

and why would anyone be an EMT or other stressful job if they could make more as a greeter at walmart?

What a shit show. The federal minimum wage is $7.25. The house passed a $15.00 minimum wage. Over 100% increase. I'm sure my wages will not double to keep up with inflation.?

Exactly. Makes me feel like a failure for working my ass off to get where I am. I mean I’m still a far cry away from that but not far enough. If they actually go through with this crap then I want my pay to double. I mean like it’s only fair. What about the people that worked their ass off to get to $35/hr or so. I mean that’s still $20/hr higher but damn. To just have it given to people is bullshit. Not to mention inflation will be through the roof. Gas will be $14 a gallon and milk will be $10. These people are plain stupid and clearly have never traveled to many parts of the globe. I can take you to quite a few countries that have actually done this and are paying these kinds of prices. Frankly, I don’t see how people make it. I guess we will wind up like VZ.

Our kids no longer work.

Part of the plan.

My first job was stocking the soda cooler for the local store.

It was the job of the night cashier guy but he figured it was less back work to just pay one of us $10 to do it before he left.

Next job was a paper route. Now done by adults in SUVs that cover 4-5 times the area.

Than on to stocking grocery aisles. Now all done by adults or people that don't understand what you are asking when you ask "Where is the salad dressing aisle?"

Dunking Donuts, McDonalds, all the shit used to be a high school job.

Now even Obama thinks it's a career path.

There are three reasons for this push......

A. It panders to the we want free stuff crowd.

B. The Dems have no answer to the current economy. Therefore they must kill it. $15 an hour is expected to immediately kill 1 million jobs - that estimate by official govt stats so expect it to be low. $20 an hour would cause a recession and if they time it to the 2020 election to make Trump look like shit.......

C. Illegal aliens are outside the rule of law. Sure you may have to pay an American $20 an hour but we will just import more illegals and pay them $5 an hour under the table. Who does business think is going to buy their shit when everyone is unemployed? Oh yeah, guaranteed govt provided income will provide the purchase power.........if you don't see the stupidity of that than someone else is likely reading these posts for you.

@W45/XM-388 is right bring business back home and legal immigration only, Everify now!

This is good, with people like her in a leadership roll we can collapse the system much faster an burn it all to the ground. The faster we do this the quicker we get this country back on track. So lets make it $20K per minute.

People who think politically backed inked paper or a bank statement is worth something in the first place, will get a rude awaking, just like in the late 20's,...laughing.
