Don't see ARP studs on those mainsView attachment 8371011View attachment 8371012View attachment 8371013I guess I’m getting back to this little project. 302 bored .030 over and a 331 stroker kit. The rotating assembly is at the machine shop being balanced as I type this. Custom ground cam and trick flow 11R heads ready to go. It’ll get a Holley Systemax II intake manifold and upgraded fuel system. I’ll probably go with the Terminator X management system mainly because I get a completely new harness with it. All going into a 93 foxbody.
The 2.0l from a 2004 suzuki, for my 1989 pontiac lemans lemons car. Timing skipped and it bent valves as we were getting loaded for a race, really sucked. What do we have here?
This only means one thing: the Haitians are coming to the US.
"The Biden administration is discussing using Guantanamo Bay to process Haitian migrants if there is a mass exodus to the US amid worsening conditions in the country, according to a US official."

My old pig, 65 Coronet, 440/727/4:10. I bought it last spring but spent almost the entire year at my dad's place in Montana. It hadn't been registered for the street since 1978. I have a shit ton of parts for it. I just need some good weather to start working on it again, and fuck it's going to snow tonight and tomorrow again.

You got any video?
There are a few lines that if you can take them you will knock 2-3 seconds off...
What year is your Camaro? I don’t think I would’ve ever gotten my ‘23 2SS 1LE if I’d ordered it with the PDR. Wish I had it, but I’ll live without it I guess.Yes, I used my PDR on all laps.
I’ll try to get some uploaded.

That's what track insurance is for...bin the semi-daily? Go get another. Rock chips and rubber marks are a sign of as-intended use.
Only sorta joking, if I knew I was gonna fall into this hobby I'd have started with a fully prepped E36/E46 or NB and a trailer.
(I see you registered for Ozarks in May...its tempting but I may end up at Pitt Race that weekend)
You shoot 6.5, dont you? When I ordered my ‘23, the PDR was on constraint with no end in sight. Hell, even 2SS was on constraint for a while, but I still managed to get mine, just without PDR. It was about an 8 month wait from order to pick up. I love it, even without PDR. LOL

PR starts at 11:51.
I think I know the answer, but is it still the 4.3l?Working some bugs out still, but close to taking it to the track. Until then it’s an ice cream getter with the daughter View attachment 8389197

Off by one number 5.3 LS with s475 turbo.I think I know the answer, but is it still the 4.3l?
Here's my 1:33.58 PB... I know my car has ~5 seconds left in it compared to a buddy who runs a very similar car.
There's a few things I see in there that I know are a better line, like I laid out in my last post, that I didnt quite get to. I also need to up my corner speed in a few places(turn 1, turn 4, turn 5, turn 9, turn 10) as I have more track that I am not using.
That white Mustang was an older Mach 1 I think it was. I reeled him in and passed him in every session. I was eating him under braking every session. I went to try to chat with him after one session and he was a complete asshole so fuck him. I just wanted to chat because he seemed like a decent driver. He just wanted to make excuses why Miata's were eating him LOL... He didnt get invited to the beer tent.
I figured. I'm stubborn and retarded so I always thought it would be cool to build up my old S10 with the 4.3.Off by one number 5.3 LS with s475 turbo.
People are doing that too! Those 4.3’s are identical to a 350 minus 2 cylinders. Lots of info out there on people using them.I figured. I'm stubborn and retarded so I always thought it would be cool to build up my old S10 with the 4.3.
I know my car has a lot more to give than what I’m using. That’s most of it - I’m still learning the car.
Huge thanks, for the turn by turn. It’s very helpful. Overall, I agree with you. After watching your video, I’m certain I can be carrying A LOT more speed than I have been. I’m also not sure about the brakes. They are massive and I’ve not gotten close to their limits, so I really don’t know where the braking limit is. I’ll watch the PDR after a session where i believe I was really getting on the brakes and the damn brake indicator will be less than a 2/5!
The best I’ve seen posted from a 6th Gen SS1LE is a 1:26:xx. Now, after watching your video, I see how that’s possible. I just have to be less of a chicken shit and go faster.
Maybe I’ll see you out there. I’m generally not an asshole, but I might make excuses….
Yeah, I think it was Hot Rod magazine that built one up years ago and it ended up pretty potent. But even then most of the aftermarket go fast parts had dried up. Maybe things are different now.People are doing that too! Those 4.3’s are identical to a 350 minus 2 cylinders. Lots of info out there on people using them.
Tallent right there!Update, Fed Ex did their job. It's in the Fab Guy's hands and about to get stitched to the core.

That rear tire ain’t that small.Good post to ask these questions... whats up with the little wheeler cars? They are squatted drag cars... smaller wheels on the back than the front and look like something you'd want to launch into the river. Is this just some vroom zoomer trend like the stupid squatted trucks? They look so horrendous. I see them constantly on Yellowbullet for sale. That and the new thing is to holesaw your fenders and put the exhaust there.... And the bandwagon bubble hoods that look like giant zits about to pop. Why are people doing this? Same people that put those hoops in their ears and stretch them into big floppy rings? Extra chromosome? This thing is probably fast as hell... but then what isnt if you put the money in the right places... but i'd be embarrassed to be seen in it. Taken off a classified ad page, sorry if its yours but its an abortion.
There was a corvette with a bubble hood bigger than this one... lol.. and people putting them on older cars, round hoods on square cars ...
More curious why people are putting these stupid small tires on the back.

28" they call them small tire cars. I can see some class cars and why. But you got these grudge guys and regular all squated with the Carolina stance and tiny wheels.. I wish i would have saved a few other pics.. but that camaro isnt the best example. Few locals here had some built up grudge cars and put 26" tires on back.... I dont get it.That rear tire ain’t that small.
