    .375 Raptor Recipe

I like Starline and use in several cartridges but youl know when there’s pressure. It’s not like lapua taking 70k + and appearing fine. 65k in Starline and youl be seeing ej flow and flattened primers in most cases.

500 yard semi auto for coyote??

With the tikka 243 you can run factory 58s,55s, and 75s. I run a 16” 243 t3 and with 55s at 300yards it still blows big holes and anchors them most of the time.

    223 80g ELDM 28"

Ditch the 5.56 brass and get some LC brass. On my last 223rem 16” I started with Norma 5.56 brass, varget, and 80gr elds. I couldn’t run much over 2550fps without piecing primers. Found a load that shot well at 2500fps but wanted more speed. Now using LC I run at 2650fps and I’m still 0.8gr away...

    223 80g ELDM 28"

16” 223rem 8twist with 80gr eldms at 2650fps. They shoot well in my tikka. I was worried at first to but not anymore. 5shot group

    22 creedmoor

I bought a lot of the 95smks the other day. Im planning on running a 16” 6.8 twist with the next barrel and pushing them around 2800fps to keep the rpm’s around 296k. It will be a hunting gun anyway and should still have less wind drift at distance than the 80elds I’m running at 3070fps out of...

    Scotch Drinkers

Glenlivet 12 is my go to. But a couple of times a year I get Glenlivet French Oak Reserve 15. It’s around $90/bottle and I like it much more than some scotch’s 2 or 3x that price. It is incredibly smooth, but you will just have to try some bottles see what you like. A few years ago I paid $180...

22 Creedmoor Short Barrels - best powders?

I’m running an 18” factory tikka 223rem 8 twist reamed out. Running 80gr elds at 2950fps forming Hornady 6creed brass that I resized. Although I took a few pieces of formed brass and it looks like it’s going to run 80gr at 3070fps with h-1000 at around ~ 44gr. Might try hybrid 100v also I think...

    16-18 inch shorty rifles

Got the 25sst back from the smith today after being cut to 18” from 26” and having the chamber set back. And a 22creed(bottom) both 18” bbls.

    25 Creedmoor

I ran .351 g7 for the 131 ACE in 2 different 25sst’s. When I talked to blackjack they had told me their bc numbers were conservative and most ppl were running around .340 I hope Sierra eventually starts selling them, but I doubt it will be at 33cents/bullet I paid for them in bulk at the initial...

22-250 Barrel Chop. Length vs noise/muzzle flip?

I loaded up for a buddy’s 18” 22-250 AI awhile back. It shot very well with 70gr bergers at 3250fps and 3425fps on the top end. We loaded them at 3250, noise wasn’t bad at all with a TB ultra 5.
