    I mean... maybe try a copper solvent? If you can get the solvent down in there, maybe flush it periodically. It might maybe chemically reduce the stuck piece of brass shaving just enough?

    Assuming by "bare steel" you mean you removed any trace of carbon or copper fouling in the throat, chamber, and barrel (which you probably do... just not making assumptions - cause I've had people use that phrase to mean less than that), it sounds like you're definitely into "barrel weirdness"...

    That does seem like pretty accelerated wear - .007/100 is hot 6 territory, yeah. Not that it makes that much difference, but I'm curious, what powder are you running? You did a lot of messing around, you said - you didn't mention it, so I'll ask - have you tried seating them longer to get back...
