They are both great guns. If it was my money, it would go towards an OBR. Cost wise it's hard to justify SR25 money when you can buy other great guns at a lower cost. Shooting wise they both shoot great, recoil is the same, honestly not really much difference between the two.
Shoots just fine but overseas we went with something else since it was having issues "stopping" guys. I won't say what that something else was, don't want you guys buying it all up ;)
We had originally had SR25s overseas and then switched over to Larue OBRs after testing. The Sig 716 G2 DMRs were actually at the top of the list but Sig couldn't provide enough rifles due to having to fulfill the CANSOF contract at the time.
