I've been studying this picture and have a question. The chamber seems to be exposed in the bolt closed position. Is this a safety concern? I would think a short part of the front of the bolt should be covered. Maybe I'm just worrying too much about someone elses build.
Did a quick run thru of 50 shot groups at 50 yds and 100 yds. Didn't hold off for wind shift, just held center and pulled the trigger. The wind was about 3 - 4 mph. The rifle is my home made version of a MKIII with home made breech block and tuner. Edited to say the target squares are 1.75" and...
Is that FWB barrel clamped in the middle with the action and the rest of the barrel free floated? If not, What is that black ring in the middle of the barrel? Wayne

These guys and gals are unbelievably good shooters. I can't hit a 1' square sheet of paper after carrying my rifle 10' to the firing. But I'm 76 so maybe that's the difference. Wayne
I know this doesn't meet the rules for the 6 groups of 5 but it is what was shot at out last 200 yard match. I thought I did fairly well. This is the rifle I used and the groups I shot. The groups are scored in the pit by the target pullers. Our club record is .826 so I didn't quite make it but...
