    Mammoth Challenge AAR

My Mammoth Sniper Challenge AAR. A long read, but might be worth it if you are considering joining in the fun one day. This is written from a non-sniper, recreational shooter's perspective. I signed up with less than two weeks notice and had no real...

    Best factory SPR/DMR AR-15

Another LPR owner (mod 2) checking in here. If you can swing it, it is a fantastic option, even just putting the upper on your favorite lower. Mine shoots great with and without a can, and isn’t stupid gassy like some other guns I own. I am switching over to all KAC guns for a reason. And it...

Member Link Up Moving to Alaska...ranges?

For some more Fairbanks info: I lived up there for 3.5 years, and miss it dearly. Cushman is an adventure if you go on a Saturday afternoon. If you go in the morning, it is a fairly quiet public range that runs out to 330yds. Bowman Arms is the local spot to go for newer stuff, precision...

PRS Talk Should I just accept that I'll lose most of my brass at a match

Mammoth is very different than PRS. When I shot mammoth, I left all the brass. Time was not afforded to pick it up even if I wanted to. I was using old LC brass that would be most likely their last firing anyways. At PRS matches I average 1 lost per day in the well developed facilities, and...

    Maggie’s Military Jeopardy

Or they are shorter because it is so cold. Sadly I don’t recall any good sayings from your military when they came up to train with us in Alaska.

    Maggie’s Military Jeopardy

Very very close. Correct genitalia, but your animal is a tad too big.

    Maggie’s Military Jeopardy

Not quite the one I am looking for. There is a company that does have this item on a t-shirt as well. The official inventory name is nothing like the animal part that is used to describe it.

    Maggie’s Military Jeopardy

Since this is a test of things that only military folks tend to understand. What is often looked for (often in the motor pool) that refers to animal genitalia but has nothing to do with animals? I tend to enjoy watching someone running screaming “does anyone have a....?”

    Attempting a 2 Mile Shot: Applied Ballistics | World's Longest Shot Challenge 2018 - Tactiholics™

Pretty amazing to figure out the evelation in the bipod and get that close. 8.8 sec of flight time is pretty impressive too.
