    You can't anodize steel, but you could have it cerakoted, or maybe do some fancy vapor deposition, DLC, etc.

    I have a 457 and a B14R. They are really different rifles. The 457 feels like a 22LR and the B14 feels closer to the real thing.

    I've seen some good Savages, had a Ruger American Ranch that was 2 MOA on a good day. Every Tikka I have been around outshot them all.
