    20” 6.5Creed burn rate

My 6.5 CM has an 18" PBB barrel. It shoots the 143 ELDx with RL 26 at 2750. It shoots the 130 TMK with RL-17 at 2865. It shoots the 139 Scenar with H4350 at 2700. About 1500 rounds into it, still shoots fine. It'll work with a 20 inch tube.

    Your PVA prefit experience

There are two reamers that I'm aware of a Type I and a Type II. The Type I has a shorter freebore (.045"), set up for standard AICS .308 mags. The Type II has a longer freebore (.150"), better suited for AW mags or a Tikka on a LA mag, etc. I'm pretty sure Manson makes both reamer types for...

@bohem Just wondering if you all have a 7 SAW reamer?. Its not on the drop down menu, but figured Id ask. Thanks in advance.

Maggie’s Funny & awesome pics, vids and memes thread (work safe, no nudity)

In my hometown, a "free" African American owned about 50. That was an interesting item of history to learn, in my middle school SC History class. It created quite a discussion amongst my "peers"...

    Tikka T3 Thread

I've never used them, but ran across thier offerings a while back. They are in Canada, but I'd assume they will sell to the US. Also, it looks to be only the body, you'd have to swap out all the internals, etc. Almost be easier and more cost efficient just to buy a dang .223 Tikka, sadly...

    In need of information

Iota Klutch stock. I think it used to be sold by Stocky Stocks, not sure if its still in the lineup though.

    Your PVA prefit experience

While not a PVA "prefit", I just got my smith to spin me up a 6 Creed with an Osprey barrel blank, 1-7", 19" suppressed. Shot 10 round groups with my top three nodes during intial load work, round count is sitting right at 100. Seems plenty accurate, good speed, and cleans up easy. My...

    Bighorn Origin Build Thread

I still have that wood stock and still like it. But I'm currently using that rifle in a Stocky's VG2, which I have enjoyed. It comes in at 27 oz. Kinda depends on my mood for the season.

I believe it is around 10 lbs, but I do remember that particular stock weighs 41.5 oz.

New 7SAW meat stick on a Mac Bros element.

From WTO below, but I'd guess the "legacy" reamer is the original design with the .045 throat. "For shooters using the AI A/W 10rd mags, Alpha Mags, or the extended Accurate-Mag AICS pattern magazines and 162-168gr VLD type bullets the 7mm SAW II chamber works perfectly, allowing full use of...

New 7SAW meat stick on a Mac Bros element.

Very nice, should be fun. Type I or II reamer? I just got my 7 SAW brass and dies for an upcoming barrel, but haven't decided on a Type I set up on a bighorn or a Type II on a tikka.

    7mm SAW

I have a Harvester 300 that I sent back twice for "baffle failures". It worked flawlessly for approximately 2,000 rounds on a 22" 7-08, a 21.5" .243., and a 22" .280 Ackley. I then put it on an 18" 6.5x47 and started to run into trouble. Both times, the baffle closest to the crown...

    Your PVA prefit experience

I asked the same question a few weeks back and the answer is yes, it's just not on the drop down menu. It's a .284 reamer set up for LA and apparently some people were ordering it expecting it to work for a SA, so there was some confusion. He said you just need to call and place an order for...

    Your PVA prefit experience

I've got a PVA Osprey barrel blank in their 3b and here are the specs on mine: 6mm, 27" blank = 61.7 oz. I got them to contour the shank down to the "Tikka" OD and it measures 1.145" at the breech end, so keep that in mind. I'm planning on a 6 creed at 18-20" so I'm guessing final weight...
