Thanks. I saw those and may need to get one. Was just thinking that I may be able to get the paddle a bit cheaper (Sig sells their upgraded selector switch fairly reasonably). The paddle mag release should be standard on all of them. The baseline releases are a pain in the finger (literally)!
Does anyone know where you can buy the paddle mag release lever (as they put on the PRS and STX models)? Seems like they would sell those like they do the upgraded safety selectors.
Yes, that is the one. What I want to know is what it looks like at low power in low light? Also, at high power through the scope view would be be great to see how much of the target the lower post covers.
I appreciate the offer but the 4-20x has a different reticle than the 2.5-12x. There is a thread on SH that has a lot of good pictures of the 3-15 reticle, which I think is the same as the 4-20 so I have a pretty good idea of what that looks like. I'm either going to get the 2.5-12x or the 3-15x...
Does anyone own the Verocity PH 2.5-12x with the 3PW Wind MOA reticle? I'm just wondering how the reticle looks on low power, especially in low light. Thanks in advance.

If leupold would make the VX6 2-12 or VX5 2-10 with a decent reticle and adj parallax , that would be great too. I had a VX6 3-18x that I liked a lot other than 18X was too high for my use.
I have had two of the NXS (actually 3 if you count a 3-15x) and I really didn't like them. I couldn't even tell you exactly why right now, but I didn't keep them long. If I remember right, they didn't seem very optically sharp to me (maybe my eyes) , I didn't like the illumination system, etc...
I don't like that they have no parallax, and the reticle options aren't to my liking. How are the turrets? Would they work well for removing the caps and dialing if needed? That is one thing I really like about the SHV 3-10. I make my own zero stop for those. (It doesn't stop it at exactly zero...
I agree. I would love a 2-12 or 3-12 set up like the Steiner but in 2nd focal plain. If I'm shooting far enough that I need to hold over, I will be at 12x anyway so I don't need FFP. There are other nice looking 12x scopes out there, but they don't have holdover reticles or the reticles are set...
If you want to get rid of the SHV and it is MOA, please let me know. I have one and am considering getting another one. I have a Zeiss Conquest 4-16x44. That may be a good fit for you if you are occasionally shooting out farther.
I have a 6.5 Creedmoor Tikka CTR contour barrel which I've had cut down to 19 inches and straight fluted by RLI. I'm thinking of getting a 19-20 inch carbon barrel to save some weight and improve the balance (run a TB suppressor). My question is- Since the barrel is so short anyway, a relatively...
