What gear ratio option will you be running for 5th gear on the TKX, .81 or .68? looking at the TKX as well but can’t decide which one so I’d like to hear some feedback when you get it on the road. I’ll be running a 3:89 rear, mostly on the street and not much highway use.
Truly amazing technology on that bike, it will be interesting to hear how it compairs to the Epic Evo. Shaving around 200 grams from a damper seems very significant as well as the 350g or more from the XO1 mechanical conversion and xx1 cranks. I have personally not ridden the new transmission...
My bad looks, like the Epic World Cup Pro is available in small, medium, large and XL. Wonder why they move to “S” sizing for the more trail oriented bikes?
Woo hoo!! New bike day will be upon you soon! Post some photos when it arrives. That bike looks incredible, what will be the target weight? S4 size? I’ve demoed a bunch of bikes but never a specialized. We see them everywhere here, for good reason. Outerbike Moab in October I’m looking...
Outstanding!! 76 miles is beyond me on a MTB….maybe on my old Colnago road bike. You down play it, but holy cow that’s a huge ride in the gravel. The elevation gain is way beyond my ability, 2500 feet is about my max. Nice ride jbell
Awesome! I've got to make the trip out Bentonville, I've heard nothing but great things about the riding there. My son and I just signed up for Outerbike - Moab in October. It's going to be a blast riding all the latest and greatest whips out there. Looking to replace the Yeti SB130 with the new...
My advice would be to visit your local bike shop and find out when they will be hosting a demo event. You can even search the major brands web sites and they will typically have a calendar of demo events posted. Best thing in they are typically free! Go ride a few bikes and see what you like as...
Quick departure from Tesla and the stock market. Who do you think the self driving Tesla is marketed to? Your wealthy professional friend with a tendency towards look what I've got and look what it can do?? Or is it a transportation option for those that can't drive or simply trying to multi...
Your bike must have incredible power with the mods you mentioned here. I'm not even running the red spring and mine is plenty of bike for what I do. I have the older Lectron and it's not a cadidate for the trade up program, but they did send me at no charge 3 new metering rods to try when I...
I found a 2019 TX300 a year or so ago with only 7 hours on her:cool: This was the last year for the carb. Ended up putting a Lectron on and this thing is much more of a handful even down low than the 2019 XC-W that I had for a year. I'm getting old and as you say it's much more of a desert...
