    Feasible to rebarrel?

Most notably, the thing they are doing that is "more" is taking off a notoriously tight factory tikka barrel without dinging up the action or barrel as many newbs do their first try at doing it by themselves. 3 of the 4 Smiths i referenced before had the job done in less than 6 weeks so not...

    Feasible to rebarrel?

I'm not sure what you're referring to? That they didn't charge me to remove factory barrel and install new barrel? Not sure if PVA charges for that but PBB and others do. It's extra work so no reason they shouldn't charge for it. I never said they were a shortcut. I'm just trying to point out...

    Feasible to rebarrel?

Most anyone that would spin up a custom barrel or made to order pre-fit can also remove your factory barrel and spin on the new one. The thing is there's no reason to limit yourself to a "pre-fit" if you're going to send your barreled action in. So basically any gunsmith youd want to chamber a...

IMR 8208 XBR AND 77gr SMK IN A GAS GUN

Yeah, i'm not sure what to think of it. Could have gotten a 0.218 blank but i doubt it because i waited quite a while after the order for a .219 bore supposedly because they started with only tooling for 218 22 blanks. Mine was chambered by manzella as well. 18" tube, 23.5 H4895, 77 TMK, Lapua...

IMR 8208 XBR AND 77gr SMK IN A GAS GUN

Is the case capacity in the OP quickload calc accurate? 28.5 grains h20 seems on the small side. That said, my current bolt barrel (ACE 0.219 bore wylde chamber) seems to build pressure fast. Much over 23.0 XBR gets hot in lapua brass with 77s.

    0 Headspace Chamber?

What is "Benchrest specs"? Is it a cartridge you ever would like to be able to shoot factory ammo in? Do you know your dies will size enough without grinding down on them or the shell holder? I dont think I'd be satisfied with such a headspace.. especially if those two items turned into headaches.

Why do people load so hot?

Some people dont think twice about sticky bolt lift and piercing a primer now and then. I dont understand why someone would want to deal with the temperamental nature of such loads over something that runs like a top without hiccup in all conditions but it probably works well for them lots of...

SOCOM To Receive Rifles Chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor

Not to mention 80k PSI and hybrid cases and how hard that is on rifles/barrels.

    Action opinions

BAT hammerhead seems sweet, ran half a mag through one that was nice. Not sure I could justify the $500 premium over Impact/Lone Peak though.

Does anyone else get frustrated reloading

I've lived with shoulder bumps in a lot varying from 0.001 - 0.003" for years and just accepted rather than fret as my abilities are a much bigger constraint than any imagined precision difference from a couple thou shoulder bump. I finally got the redding comp shell holder set and it does seem...

Silencer decision: Enticer STi or Nomad Ti XC

More from same forum: Guy had DD "Straighten up" his can after it was having cold bore issues. https://rokslide.com/forums/threads/suppressors-first-round-impact-shift.377038/#post-3829790

Silencer decision: Enticer STi or Nomad Ti XC

Some that I recall linked below. Seen others, mostly on the same forum. Lots of people without issue as well. https://rokslide.com/forums/threads/shoot2hunt-university.357235/page-4#post-3685753 https://rokslide.com/forums/threads/dilligent-defense-enticer-sti-problems.413880/...

Silencer decision: Enticer STi or Nomad Ti XC

I’ve seen enough negative reports on enticers impacting accuracy and having issues that I wouldn’t go that route. Prior KGM manufactured nomads seemed to have a lot of failures but I haven’t heard the same with the printed XC versions. Pulling 2024 tbac summit data from shooters ear dba: Nomad...

Awesome suppressor muzzle brake front end attachment by Recoilx

With many of these having ports through the top and with the release of gas being slowed by the can, is anyone seeing gasses in the scope such that it impairs spotting shots?
