Y’all know that US pilots control the ship while in us waters, right?
earlier commentary said that a pilot is required to get out of dock, but not once it was "in the channel" or something to that affect.Y’all know that US pilots control the ship while in us waters, right?
That’s up to you.can i share that elsewhere?
I used Google AI to see who Francis Scott Key was: "African American writer of the Star Spangled Banner" Learn something new everyday!India actually. There was a mayday. Lost propulsion.
How many here know who Francis Scott Key is?
The pilot operates all the way out of the harborearlier commentary said that a pilot is required to get out of dock, but not once it was "in the channel" or something to that affect.
in any case, probably doesn't matter who is piloting the ship when it loses complete power. not sure if dropping anchor on the other side would have made a difference in which way the boat turned.
I doubt it was a union crew , I just saw a interview with the foreman of the team , he didn't speak English, used a translator ,he said the men missing were from Mexico, qaudamala, and Honduras, don't think the union hires illegals, I could be wrong, suppose they could get green cards , but it used to be that all gov work was done by union workers on the east coast , but times have changed I guess.Tell me it’s a union job without saying it’s a union job……
If you buy that shit chances are you’re an idiot.
Have any of you dumb asses considered looking up analysis by someone who drives big ass ships for a fucking living?

Well the people they are fishing out of the bay couldn’t breathe… so there is that.
Caught that as well, but she corrected her self later.I95, not I94 Lara.
Didn't they used to use tug boats on either side of ships to keep shit like this from happening until they got past critical infrastructures? Seems like back in the day and even now you sometimes see tug boats guiding ships in the Charleston Harbor.
Two tugboats on each side of that ship could have prevented that.
The US should have a new policy tug boats should have to escort every ship in and out of all harbors.
yep, I guess all those billions weren't used for competency classes.
Why spoil a good story with facts?Wasn't there a pilot on board to get it out of the harbor?
Hooper could make it.Needs More Burt Reynolds.
One of ya get on that, ok?
