    I bet this new law will have a stifling effect on criminals selling guns to other criminals.
    And also make planing burglaries to steal guns much more difficult- ya know having to wait 3 days to sell the guns ya just stole

    Oh no, you can sell them immediately. The buyer just needs to come back in 3 days to pick them up.

    Cry me a fucking river, This dick licker Komifornia just passed an 11% tax on all firearm and ammunition transactions. This on top of Pay for ammo background checks, 10 day wait period, only purchase guns on a fucked up list of approved guns, the list goes on and on. Someone sues the state, the state gets shot down, it goes to the 9th circuit court they uphold, goes to supreme and the 9th gets shot down every fucking time. Then dick licker starts all over again with a new fucked up law. Almost forgot, Cant get mail order ammo anymore so we get to pay twice as much as the rest of the world. The sportsmen of this state are second class citizens, the constitution means nothing to these little pricks.

    I recall when this was a... thing I'll say, possibly due to the AWB between 94-04? I can't help but think of the microprint/fingerprint whatever it was referred to requirement Maryland had when pistols shipped with spent casings to comply. Of course even MD had to admit that failure of that requirement and conceded, has there ever been a documented example where the 72 hour 'cooling off period' or whatever they're calling it made a single difference in the past?

    California became a lost cause long ago. Until recently we basically didn't have any gun laws at the state level that weren't inline with federal ones. We got permit-less carry years ago. We have been a haven for guns for a long time.

    This state through the Mills admin has been sliding deeper and deeper into the trash hole when aside from weather and shitty economics were weren't a bad place to live.
