Watch, get pumped, load, go shoot!

Just fun shooting to get y'all out the door tomorrow whatever your flavor of caliber is.
I'll be up @ zero dark 30 to make a few more and look for something else completely stupid to shoot at.
Grip it n rip it.

if that was 415 feet that was a great shot , now he just has to back it up one shot could marked up to luck , but three in a row it's much harder to say that's just luck thanks for sharing that video that was pretty cool .

At 415 yards?!?
Yes, that's correct.
From here, two rooms deep otta my shoot house, across the Soybeans to a built up area I have in the corner of the field.
Thanks for posting n hope you get out to shoot today

THREE IN A ROW!!!???
I'm otta my league on here with standards set like that.
Absolutely right. Lotta luck shining down on that shot.
I'm not much good at banging small groups on paper.
I like creating the target or shot, making tweeks to the ammo, running around in the field throwing handfuls of dirt in the air to see what the dust does and the decision making that follows.
To this day I have two shots that have avoided success.
One was a contraption that you shot to start it swinging, once swinging it would light a match. The follow-up shot should extinguish the match by shooting the head off.... while it's swinging. Lol
Lots of stuff went wrong there.

The other shot was splitting a playing card at a mile. Painfully close but still a no go.

My style is definitely not everyone's cup of tea but if it pumps one person to head out for a range day I have succeeded.
Thanks much for posting and watching!

So your saying this was a cold bore first shot no editing at 415yds hitting inside a 22LR case that was swinging in the wind...?

You need more cameras to prove the distance. I think you videos would go way further if you did.

I just have a hard time believing that was taken at 415yds.

Should show a laser range finder reading, have a camera set up on target and one camera zoomed in from target to shooting area.

No no no no.... That's not correct.
First I had to walk across water to gain access to my shooting position THEN all that stuff you wrote happened.
No, this is how the shot really went down.

I have an 8" steel plate about 20' to the right of where the 22 case was filmed.
I fired 2 rounds on that.
Now I drive all that other crap down in my car and get it and the camera setup and constructed. (1/2 hour-ish)
Drive car back to the gun, swap car for moto, drive moto back to camera/target, turn on camera, haul back to the gun, then yes, shoot 22 case @ 415 on that shot, no editing.
The wind thing was more dramatic than it looked. Barely any wind but it was light and hanging from string...

(Hope the water thing didn't offend anyone)

Hello Doc.
Great information my friend.
I'm sure you'll understand when I say this is not my first rodeo having this conversation. Lol
You are so right; granted I suck at the video thing and I run off nearly zero technology I tried the whole descriptive thing for shots like this and feedback was people just didn't care about all the words and extra video of shot setup and stuff.
I could shoot an 8 minute video and if the shot touched off at minute 2 that's where it would drop off on the YouTube analytics.
Killing myself editing for nothing.
(* I only have 2 cameras, one being my phone*)
You have been far the politest person to call BS on me yet! Thank you for that.
I just started tinkering with these shorter videos but I can see the doubt they leave. At this point I'm kinda ok with it I guess as I just do it for fun.

I posted this one on 7/28 and it was shot from and to the exact location as this 22 case video was.
I tried to make it short while giving a sense of distance plus motivational vibe.
Does it do a better job?
I only fired those two shots that day. Cold bore miss then the 2nd striking the spinning nickel. (415y)
Thoughts??

Okay I can buy that one, still a hell of a shot but I have had some days where I have surprised myself as well. Having a couple shots to get yourself dialed in before making the shot is believable, not that I would ever call anyone a liar but some stories I would have to see myself before I would accept it.

Sometimes I think the shots I post catch a lot of criticism solely because most shooters don't shoot at the dumb stuff I put out there.
It looks tough but likely you'd hit it too.
Range limitations are another issue. I literally can press a round, walk out and rip it. If it doesn't do what I want, I adjust and press another round.
Cheating in a way.
Check this shot out.
Yes, again my video skills suck. It got no play whatsoever but in my opinion it's a hard shot to make.
Like Doc had mentioned, I tried to do all kinds of things to get people interested but no luck.
I gave some insight as to how I think about shots but ya know.
In the end I just say to myself; go shoot a moving playing card at 400+ yards then get back to me. I'd like to know how it turned out. Lol
All in the name of fun I guess.

I would have to guess its the combination of factors that raise the criticism if you get any, I have lots of dumb shit I shoot at. These targets below are my 22LR 100yd targets and they get hit, just not one after the other its quite a challenge. Now If I said I shoot these at 1000yds in high winds cold bore and didn't miss a toothpick I can almost guarantee you It would raise flags on the hide :ROFLMAO:

yea paid to shoot could think of lots of worse things even if they turned there jersey bright pink and read I am a flower for smith and Wesson for a mill or so I could get used to it . get to pop off rounds in my back yard like the ammo shortage wasn't happening cause powder companies would be fawning all over you like you were a side of beef at the fat people's free bbq , yuck who would want that .

maybe you could use that enforcement money to become a fishing boat captain well maybe .

So let me get this straight... You're saying you'd rather go with a bright pink floral Jersey rather than reload your spent primers with snap caps that you picked up at the local Dollar General Store due to the shortage????
Hummmm, I still need to ponder that one.
Guess it could be worse than S&W... Could be Glock right!

Just kidding around here... Throwing chum in the waters while the Sharks are nearby. Lol
Unlimited supplies would be a dream but I'm still standing my ground against that Pink Shirt thing!
