340 Weatherby Accumark. Reputation?

Any thoughts on the 340 Weatherby Accumark w/ Accubrake?
Is it a solid action? Decent barrel? Accurate? Tactical potential?

I'm a lefty so my options are limited.

I have a LH 340 Wby. Mine is a EuroMark. It is a little over 20 years old. With about 250 rounds down the barrel. I really like the rifle for a hunting rifle. I have two friends who also have a 340. Our only use for them is elk hunting. That 250 Sierra puts a smack on a bull elk. Mine is reasonably accurate for a heavier magnum rifle. I do not have a brake on my barrel. I can keep my groups right around an inch at 100 yards. I can keep my shots in a 4 inch group at 300 yards. It is not a rifle I would want to shoot every day. But I really like it for what I use it for. Tom.

Are the Mark V actions really in need of truing/blueprinting or are the barrels sub par? Krieger Criterion?

The 340 appears to have serious potential.
