t3, 9.5 twist, hunting elk and bears out to 750
I run H870 which unfortunately ISN'T available any more . 160 Gr. bullet with 79.0-80 gr. US 869 is as close a performer in surplus canister grade powder you're gonna get .
VV N560 is very very repeatable accuracy wise and near full loads with 160.0 Nosler Accubond at 68.4 gr. puts Me slightly over 3K fps.
If you run 168's I'd run N560 65.4 gr. is what I load . " IF " You run 175 gr. bullet drop last recipe 1.0 gr. and you're near Max load .
I'd try and stay within 0.5 gr. less of those charges ,so You can see accuracy potential but would advise against going any higher in charge weight .
Unfortunately for the vast majority of you ,I have many obsolete powders which I still use and relating that info is useless too you.
Like Winchester Magnum Rifle Powder , a Double base Ball powder ,which I believe they discontinued due to dumbshits attempting to fill compress magnum loads with it . I read something way way back about people NOT adhering to stated recipes and disaster occurring ,so OFF the market .
I use it occasionally for Magnum Rifle loads ,even used it in .338 LM and Pistol powder but it's Powerful shit .
