That's fine, the department and/or city would most likely get sued but at least officers won't get convicted of murder for doing their job. I'd be fine with these cities who throw their officers under the bus getting taken to the cleaners on civil suits over it. Let the leftist mayors take the blame for all that $$ going out the window. Bet they'll change their view when they aren't getting reelected.

Well, seconds prior to the shooting, he is seen going after another kid while she's on the ground... kicking her full force in the head.

I'm wondering why the hell the officer didn't stop THAT violent attack. He deserved a few rounds as well.

We all know how these street thugs learn how to behave in ways that get them shot by cops. (and each other) They learn this from rotten parents, or the lack thereof.

There was another officer's body cam footage that showed him escorting the girl in pink to his car, she said something like "yeah she came after me" the cop said "the girl on the floor" "yeah" "with a knife" "yeah so he got her". Trying to find it on it's own so I can post it but big surprise it's very hard to find.

here is some perspective.

there are ~700k police officers and they kill ~1200 per year (justified or not).
there are over 1m doctors and they kill ~250,000 per year with their mistakes.

I read this girl was a foster child. Which means her mother wasn't fit to have custody of her.
I also have to wonder if this guy kicking the girl in the head was a foster parent or friend of the foster home. He should be banned from any further contact with anybody in that house (assuming this is the foster home). What a mess.
 
Something I haven't heard many point out, the officer must have been well trained with that firearm and was acting either within his training or did an incredible job keeping his cool as he hit the attacker and only the attacker, and there wasn't a whole lot of margin between her and the girl in pink specifically.

Pretty sad. The point I made earlier is this will not get national attention because it doesn't fit the narrative that white cops are taking out black people all across the nation. Instead they might have to face the reality that there is something else at the root of the crime and murder rates in these inner cities. And as you read that article I bet there is not one mention of either girls race, there wasn't in the article I read about it.
