I very personally know two families that home schooled their kids until high school age and those kids all went on to become tops in one field or another. Two doctors, a veterinarian, a college professor of ocean microbiology and a co-partner in a very successful art studio.

We do all of our dental work at home. Fillings, cleanings, I even read up and tried a crown last month. it has been really fulfilling and kept my family away from the constant pro-fluoride indoctrination of the ADA. There are great groups that get together to share tools and materials. We are thinking about getting an X-ray coop together. Until recently we‘ve just been forcing the local dentist to let us use his waiting room because our kids have the same rights to dental-adjacent activities as actual patients. It takes real dedication and some creativity but with you-tube and the support of the home dental association it totally doable.
