New from Colorado

[Keel Haul]

Not a new shooter but new to long range bolt work. A friend and I got a bit bored with service rifle competition so we decided to move into the bolt gun area. I'll try to help out in the other areas I have experience in to even out the knowledge I'll be learning here.

Thanks. I finally had it with apartment living and bought a house right on the aurora/centennial border by E470, just south of Buckley AFB runway. When the 16's fly over the house it's like a free air show every day they go up.

Welcome, Colorado has some of the most helpful shooters I’ve come across. Pikes Peak Precision Rifle Club puts on a great match every second Saturday on Fort Carson just south of you. Come down and shoot with us sometimes. I’ve been new to PRS since last year and these guys have been great helping learn and encouraging me to get better and keeping getting out and shooting.

Welcome to the Hide. Glad you're out there, I worry about Colorado turning more "blue" than it already is! I'm hoping someday our shooting friends will help displace some of the snowflake libs out there lol!

Thanks. Between the sammichmaker and I, there are two more to help in the fight against the blue flu. I find as long as I stay out of the city of Denver, I can avoid most of the hard core socialists. Being close to an AFB doesn't hurt either. For some reason the libs don't enjoy the sound of freedom like we do.

Welcome, new here too. Although I've been a lurker here before the hide went to scout and back. I'm in the Ft Collins area. Colorado is great (except for the enroaching liberals).

We run several matches in Pueblo. A 300 yard precision match that focuses on fundamentals of PRS shooting. Targets go from 3 MOA down to 1 MOA. They are a screaming deal at $10 per gun. 3rd Saturdays.

We also run a rimfire belly match and a rimfire PRS match. 4th Sundays.

Pueblo is definitely on the list for places sammichmaker and I want to visit. I can see taking a long weekend for seeing the sights and throwing some lead.
