Can anyone check gunbroker.com? I've been getting a 502 error for about 3 hours now.

Could they have been hacked?

Missed the coin I was looking at getting. People are spending way too much for their coins lately. It sold for $120 more than I would ever think of spending.

Great article. The global insistence of the U.S. dollar has been a major tool of corporate hegemony over the years. This could have been avoided if Americans had been successful at eliminating corporate control of their government, but the two party system has proven quite capable of resisting all attempts at democratizing the U.S. and subsequently the world order.

Once the U.S. dollar collapses, average Americans may recognize an opportunity to seize their government from this 'basket of corporations' and usher in a period of representative governance.

However corporate media has been very successful at convincing most voters not to abandon the two party system. Another road block has been the success of Wall Street to undermine any Party or candidate who has attempted to resist the corporate narrative of the two Party system. We live in interesting times.

It is very aggravating on the patience levels of men who are ready and itching to strike back to watch this shit happening, but it is a necessary progression through the "stages of acceptance" for these pampered and affluent hipsters that are the typical Shanghainese. After a few more days, they will realize that all that shouting and screaming STILL accomplished NOTHING. And then they will probably consider other, more productive options to end their predicament. More aggressive pangs of hunger might speed up their decision-making quicker too. They CAN make the authorities end this lockdown immediately. However, sitting around and shouting is not gonna do shit. You are still complying, and that is all the state cares about. Also, the enforcers that the state are sending out every day are still returning to their rallying points alive at the end of the day. THAT is a major problem.

Pampered and affluent idealists who had never experienced animosity or hardship need to grind through all 5 stages of denial and acceptance before they reach the final stage when they realize their true predicament, and it is either quietly roll over and die, or start slitting throats.

Stoics who have stared violence and death in the face however, never waste time on the stages of acceptance. There are only two stages. Acceptance, followed by a clear course of decisive action. They never cry, beg, or vent, because they know that these actions are useless and does not produce results. Only results matter. And for stoics to teach a non-stoic to get to that stage is probably harder than teaching a Tiktok influencer soyboy how to drive an 18 speed Peterbilt with a splitter and double clutching. But it can be done, and hardship itself is often an excellent teacher.

Yes, let's move to a digital currency that could effectively become worthless overnight when a cryptographic break is discovered and/or sufficiently a powerful/specialized computer is developed. Or when a sufficiently large CME is released and aimed directly at Earth. Or when someone with their hand on the nuclear button says "fuck it" one day and detonates a nuke in the ionosphere. Or when the Balkinization of the Internet inevitably happens.

Even though most transactions today are not using physical currency, the push to eliminate physical currency does not provide any benefit to the average person. It's a tool of big banks and tyrants to further control populations.

I wonder who had the overall responsibility to permit him to be AG?

The Senate

Under the Appointments Clause of the United States Constitution, the officeholder is nominated by the president of the United States, then appointed with the advice and consent of the United States Senate. The attorney general is supported by the Office of the Attorney General, which includes executive staff and several deputies.

Shanghai CCP officials 'mourn the death of another lockdown enforcer':

State media of course, refuses to acknowledge on how this latest lockdown enforcer had "died on duty", but my aunt had confirmed that several of these "da bai" had already been killed by furious residents when they had attempted to seize children from families. In another thinly veiled outburst dated from yesterday, Shanghai officials vowed to "punish" those who "defied lockdowns".

LOL "struggling to maintain the outbreak". Yeah sure... 230,000 asymptomatic cases, 3000 mild symptomatic cases requiring no treatment. ZERO deaths from actual COVID... Yeah okay, more like somebody else fucked around and found out here...

I know Musk will have trouble with the all-cash bid for Twitter, but who else would have that much cash laying around???
Thats the problem. He likely does not. The more cynical view is he knows it and is merely blathering and ginning up the hype all the for branding purposes.

I would urge caution here. The socialism is strong in this one.

"The new convergent economic system that emerged in the PRC (People’s Republic of China) and India is the next inevitable stage of development, combining the benefits of both centralized strategic planning and market economy, and of both state control of the monetary and physical infrastructure and entrepreneurship. The new economic system united various strata of their societies around the goal of increasing common wellbeing in a way that is substantially stronger than the Anglo-Saxon and European alternatives."

And what good is physical currency in your scenarios when it is only backed by nothing? The gold standard died a while back in the US.
