Ultimately, there is no mystery as to why the Forever Wars go on endlessly. Or why at a time when Uncle Sam is hemorrhaging red ink a large bipartisan majority saw fit to authorize $95 billion of foreign aid boondoggles that do absolutely nothing for America’s homeland security.

To wit, Washington has morphed into a freak of world history – a planetary War Capital dominated by a panoptic complex of arms merchants, paladins of interventionism and Warfare State nomenklatura. Never before has there been assembled and concentrated under a single state authority a hegemonic force possessing such unprecedented levels of economic resources, advanced technology and military wherewithal.

Not surprisingly, the world’s War Capital is Orwellian to the core. Its endless pursuit of war is always and everywhere described as the promotion of peace. Its jackboot of global hegemony is gussied-up in the form of alliances and treaties ostensibly designed to promote a “rules-based order” and collective security for the benefit of mankind, not simply the proper goals of peace, liberty, safety and prosperity within America’s homeland....
long winded...

Russia's economy grew 3.6% in 2023. https://www.voanews.com/a/russia-economy-grew-in-2023-despite-war-and-sanctions/7478952.html

And has so far posted 5.6% economic growth for 2024. https://www3.nhk.or.jp/nhkworld/en/news/20240518_13/

Of note, the first article from 2023 questions whether Russia's 2023 3.6% growth would be sustainable, since it was largely driven by military spending. Well, since 2024 is posting 5.6% so far, that question appears to have been answered. Biden has been significantly better for Russia's economy than he has been for ours.

US GDP grew 2.5% in 2023: https://www.statista.com/statistics/188165/annual-gdp-growth-of-the-united-states-since-1990/
And, has so far posted 1.6% for 2024: https://www.cnbc.com/2024/04/25/gdp-q1-2024-increased-at-a-1point6percent-rate.html

That guy is a fucking idiot. At the current rate that these fools are "weakening" the Russian economy, yea, Russia should totally collapse any day now!

How many Ukrainians will be left in six years?
Still quite a few.
The issue would be that the remaining Ukrainians would not be in Ukraine.

Instead, the newer bodies would be young German, Brit, French, Canadian and American troops sent to die at the pleasure of elites.

Since the 2022, when the western countries decided to wreck the Russian economy, they've moved up two places on the list of nations economies purchasing power parity GDP, from 6th place, to 4th.

Given Biden's handling of the border, Afghanistan, and pretty much everything else, It was pretty much a given, that whatever these retards try to accomplish would have the exact opposite effect.

So most NATO nations cannot meet their 2% NATO commitment but they can provide unlimited support to Ukraine? Must be the 10% “for the big guy” for all the politicians

Better time then ever for us to abandon NATO.

NATO has a fetish with the idea of full on war with Russia, and it seems like that's going to be a self fulfilling prophecy.

I don't see how a fullblown war with Russia is good for America or Americans. Time to eject from this madness.

Couple things on this:

1. It isn't just Russia if it keeps going sideways, it will be other BRICS nations that support Russia.

2. Once all of NATO is spending more money, material and lives they cannot afford in that arena, there will be other nations that decide now is the time to take what they want in other places around the world. And since all the migrants will not be fighting they will begin to take over parts of the EU. So go fight somewhere only to have other international and domestic issues collapse western society.

3. Europe doesn't have the resources to support Ukraine and themselves. They are having enough issues due to Russian oil and nat gas restrictions, let alone their economies being in a shambles.

This guy is a moron.

Like almost all abusers, the western left live by intimidation and fear. When challenged directly to battle, they almost always run and hide, because in actual battle they could really lose. If they don’t run away, they can be pinned down and neutralized. Putin is not dumb; I would guess he would not be terribly upset if NATO gave him the excuse to deploy a couple “suitcase stars”. If “we” responded with strategic canned sunshine so would he, probably along with some “random targets” of the nwo variety, along with DC, LA, etc. The left cannot allow that to happen, so Putin has them by the short and curlies.

Don't forget the illegals there also......

Funny how the citizens of all the countries are taking backseats to illegals and aiding foreign countries .....

Per Russian sources of info, new minister of defence, A. Belousov, started a very active action of cleaning the russian defence ministery from various forms of corruption, many high ranking officials were arrested, etc.
If they did that in Ukraine, there would be nobody left. But, that's what the 10% FTBG is for. Protection from oversight.

Could not find any decent English language source (to post here) about cleaning up of russian defence ministry (MOD) from corruption, but what is currently happening in Russia is simply amazing. It looks to me like a serious event. E. Prigozhin, who's revolted against the MOD, appeared to be right...

a friend of mine just came back from Ukraine. He was one of these ultra patriotic types, hated Russia and Putin, everything was great if it was yellow and blue.

but now he spent the evening talking about how bad everything is. "It's no longer a free country" "everyone is being drafted" "anyone who left the country has all of their property confiscated if they dont return to fight" "the politicians are all corrupt and dont even try to hide it" ultimately he said "it has become a slave country"

Yup, we aren’t crazy, just very jaded by our experience.

Something similar happens to all countries in times of a serious war, even the United States, e.g., WWI, WWII . . . the US became quite totalitarian in many respects during large wars in history.

Too bad, the west wants a forever war, to "bleed" Russia. The West has no interest in peace in Ukraine. That's clear given that western officials never talk about the prospect of peace, rather it's all about punishing Russia. They've made that clear with their words - along with sabotaging every prospective peace deal with Russia along the way.

And Ukraine is paying dearly for it.

Gunpowder comes from China.

The consensus was that China was reluctant to sell to the U.S. because so much of the supply was being pumped into munitions for Ukraine. Defense industry manufacturers are scarfing up much of the supply reaching the U.S.

European officials say the scarcity is affecting the ability to rearm Ukraine.

“Powder is really what’s lacking today,” French President Emmanuel Macron acknowledged earlier this year.

Sam Gabbert, owner of SGAmmo, said factories seemed to have gunpowder stockpiled, but “this issue is expected to catch up to them no later than the summer of 2024 and possibly within a few months.”

If demand for ammunition rises, factories may be unable to fulfill it, he said.

Mr. Emmer said the U.S. must ensure a stable supply of gunpowder.

“As threats to our nation’s security evolve, it is more important than ever to take proactive measures to secure our ammunition supply chain. This is not only about enhancing our military readiness but also supporting American manufacturing and ensuring law-abiding Minnesotans and Americans can exercise their Second Amendment rights,” the Minnesota Republican said.

The bill states that “Congress remains concerned about the domestic supply and production of nitrocellulose” and worries that a supply chain failure “could restrict ammunition manufacturing for large and small calibers, harming the commercial marketplace and placing the warfighters at risk.”

The legislation would require a report within 180 days on sources of nitrocellulose, nitroglycerin and acid production, and recommendations for broadening production and preventing supply chain chokepoints.

I wonder if they believe their own propaganda. Russia is in a better position now than before the war. The sanctions on them have proven to be a boost to their economy.
