First time I’ve had this issue, so searching for solutions. I put washer on and completely tighten down the hider, but yet it’s still not touching the washer. Find bigger washer? Add another washer? Is this odd, only 3rd install sorry in advance for newbie question

10-4 I hope a 2nd makes it work

I would use an alignment rod to ensure your can is centered after stacking washers like that.
