Putting together a hunting rig for a friend. Originally set him up with a Mark 5 HD 5-25 with the PR2. It’s a little too fine for his taste. My second option for him was going to be a 3.6-16 with an illuminated TMR. Do you guys think that it will be sufficiently more visible than the Pr2? The thinnest stadia lines are twice as thick (.1 mil). I figure he can always crank on the illumination in the worst case.

I have the exact same scope on several hunting rifles and prefer the TMR reticle for hunting. Mostly whitetail deer, an occasional coyote and ground hog. (Mark 5 HD 3.6-18)
