Picked up a Trim-It II from Brownells for their return policy just in case it didn’t work out. I read the reviews and they were almost split. Some didn’t like it and some never had issues. Anyway I was tired of hand trimming.

Got the trimmer in yesterday and it took a little time to set up. So far so good. My target length for 6.5 Creedmoor brass is 1.915” and I set up the trimmer to just about that length to the best of my abilities.
Here are the measurements with 8 pieces of resized Hornady brass trimmed back to back with the Trim-It II using a hand drill. Just FYI the shank is 3/8” so it can be coupled to a bench grinder with the right adapter.

So I would say it’s not bad and works so far. I don’t weight sort my brass or do anything else special. Just resize and trim. The deburr is nice and the chamfer on the inside isn’t bad at all.

do you know if you can trim 6 creedmoor with that or do you need a different attachment?
You can but you would have to adjust it each time you switch between the two calibers. Thats a pain in the ass.
I say to get the individual cutters and leave them set up. Once you get to 4 or more calibers I think its worth it to go with the giraud bench trimmer over the individual drill units.

The cutter assemblies are $85. I’ll prob pick one up to load up 6 Creedmoor eventually if all is well. There was a bit of trial and error when I was setting it up initially. Hopefully the adjustments stay put. I’ll keep a careful eye on it and will update as time goes on good or bad.
