Great discussion on shellholders, but it is on a progressive, so I don't have that option.
I was trying to size fired 556 brass to fit a Compass Lake Barrel, and I couldn't do it with my progressive set up. I figured it might be the plate, so I tried on my Zero as well, with the same dies, but no dice. Anyway, I went through every 223 die I have, and the only one that would get it small enough, on the Zero and/or the Mark 7, was Whidden. It did it with room to spare.
Since the CLE gives you an absolute number goal, it isn't hit or miss as much as it is a pretty short chamber. It's just about equal to virgin starline 223 brass.
