Zermatt TL3 Bolt Handle Retention

What's the best low-grade thread compound to help retain a TL3 bolt handle? Looking for something less permanent than blue thread locker. Any advice appreciated!

Use less blue thread locker. You only need a drop dude you don't have to paint the threads and shaft of the bolt handle blue.

Teflon tape

That’s what I did, two wraps and it gave me a nice solid water tight connection. And you can add or remove if you find you made it too loose or right still and no heat or soaking or extreme force required for removal.

This. 10 seconds with a heat gun and it's off of there.

I put the knob in a padded vice and then screw the bolt body into it. Snug it up tight and you'll never be able to work it loose by hand.

I do teflon tape, then wrap the handle in a bunch of electrical tape to protect it from marring, then tighten with a set of pliers.
