I can't tell if the can kept things super quiet or that corn has crack pellets in it but not even the rabbit ran away when you drilled him :)

That's some good whitetail deer you got out there and really nice kill. What area are you at more less? I'm hunting south texas too, close to Premont.
 
Outstanding for a low-fence deer. I said "bang" in my head right when you released the shot!
 
Awesome buck and he made the recovery easy on ya! Please share the specs on your rifle when you get a chance. Love South Texas.
