It reads like the homeowner couldn’t hit her with 39 shots. It never says that they were warning shots, lol.

They did the same thing in Salem, MA.

It was prior to the advent of the .45 ACP though so they had to use different methods.

You'd get dunked in water or have increasingly heavy rocks placed on your body.

39 shots from a 45ACP. By my count if it was a 1911 thats 5 mags, so he had to reload 4 times. Thats pretty weak marksmanship skills. Or maybe he needed a silver bullet.

When we read about other accounts of SD/HD shootings and the victim misses a shot or wings the assailant, we can justify that adrenaline and/or lighting/time of day played a major part in less-than-expected results. THIRTY NINE missed shots? WTF? Dumbass is lucky that he did not hit anyone else with those errant rounds.
