Not going to read it, just had this conversation the other day with my lefty step-daughter (Clinical Social Worker), hadn't gotten around to starting a thread on it because I'm too busy working my ass off doing man-shit building a railroad, my second career following trouncing dictators and freeing people for twenty five years. "Toxic masculinity" as she called it is a "great threat" to society, according to her. Something about men not expressing feelings and not paying attention, I don't know, I really wasn't listening... She didn't like it when I said that same masculinity killed off the Nazis and brought freedom and democracy to the world. Her mother agreed with her, to a degree, but I really think it's because she wants me to talk more. I don't know what they really meant, instead I went out and shoveled snow because damned if they were going to fucking do it.

What the lefty APA and the rest of the liberal arts world fails to realize is humankind would quite literally die off without masculinity, because women don't get the job done. They don't slay bodies, they don't build shit, they don't put food on the table that isn't picked off a bush, and they don't keep the wolves at bay.

I gladly welcome the left to get rid of more of their toxic masculinity, all the more easier to conquer them and breed them out of existence.

Well, it fits. They look at every behavior besides their own like a disease, and when is the last time you saw a psychiatrist or psychologist who wasn't effeminate? I'm supposed to be taking Lyrica, which is technically an anticonvulsant, for pain. But I don't, because it is an anticonvulsant, and has indications and side effects that a prosecutor would have a field day with, were I to have to ever defend myself. Instead, I bear up under the strain and try to deal with it through prayer and meditation. Sometimes, help isn't help at all in the long run. I get where 308 is coming from.

im not saying it should be your first option....and that everyone needs to run to medication......frankly if you are able to do without, i feel youre better off.

but to say people with serious issues like PTSD, bipolar disorder, major depressive disorder, ect. should go without treatment isnt helping anyone.

theres more to treatment than just throwing meds at someone......i do feel meds are over prescribed, and that therapy based treatment is more effective...but thats not a valid reason to write off doctors all together.


if i need meds, that may come with unfortunate side effects....and i need to defend myself..... in that unlikely scenaro, i would rather explain myself to a jury than to suffer every day.

People do not express emotions for MANY reasons and "being manly" is only one of them.

There are practical and tactical reasons for being stoic and not expressing emotions. Overt emotional displays simply does not achieve the results I am looking for when I am trying to solve a particular problem. A guy who accidentally dropped his phone into a pond can scream and cuss like a madman, but it ain't going to make his phone magically return to his hand in it's original condition. Likewise, crying and moping the fuck around is NOT going to make problems go away. Whenever I say or do something, I want to get immediate results. Results are the only things that interest me. Useless displays of emotions do not get me results and often fuck up someone's decision-making abilities during critical events.

Secondly, people will suppress their emotions because they do not want the opposing side to detect weakness. True masters of the deadliest fighting arts throughout history always advise people to "never let ANYBODY know your true emotional state, or they will take advantage of it". This keeps you ALWAYS one, two or many steps ahead of everybody else. Especially in conflicts and confrontations, the last thing I want people to know is my true emotional state. Keep motherfuckers guessing, but never finding out what your intentions will be.

Traditionally, MEN have always been the decision makers, the hunters, the warfighters and the martial artists. So these skills are always important to them.

This just shows that the leftist PUSSIES and their talking heads want to eliminate the warrior instincts from men. Good luck with that, because you simply CAN'T. Traits and instincts like those are already genetically present in men. It is a survival technique that enabled men to build tools, weapons and wage war.

This was actually something that instructors in various schools would look for. If your face looked demoralized, even if you weren’t, they would swarm you and give you crap every time they saw it until you learned when you had that face and changed it. Stoic traits are extremely valuable in tactical situations.
