Hello Friends,

We are rolling out are really amazing new product for AIAX rifles and chassis. It's called the AX Hammer Rail HR1, and it was designed with the competitive shooter in mind.

The first thing you'll notice is it has a full length "Arca" style dovetail rail build into the bottom of the handguard. This is a must have for PRS/NRL/LEO because it allows you to slide your bipod so you can get very stable off of small barricades or supports. You can simply slide the bipod to exactly where you need it in seconds. Also we knurled the bottom surface so when shooting off of bags or smooth surfaces, the rifle won't slide.

The AX HR1 also features MLOK attachment slots so you can now put tons of optional accessories like grip panels or illuminators on easily and quickly. There are four built in QD sling mounts for various sling configurations, depending on your needs.

The AX HR1 comes in two lengths for the AX Rifles, 13" and 16". It also comes in 15" for the AX Chassis, which is a tad longer than the OEM handguard so you get a more stable platform. (plus it looks better too!)

Right now we offer them in Black, AI Brown (tan) and AI Green (sage). In the near future we will be making 20/30 moa top rails to match.

Prices range from $350-$375

Please let me know if you have any questions!

Thanks,

MV

Looks great! Glad to see these out.

Side question: In that first picture, does that S&B have the illumination knob on the right hand side of the tube? Thanks!

any release date for AXMC ? or it is the same as AIXC ?

Will this work on pre-2014 AICS AX chassis? The ones with 10 fasteners holding the handguard on?

Looks awesome! I'm currently running a separate Arca on my forend but like the look and design you did with the integrated rail and serrations. Do you offer a full length top rail for it that would flush up to a factory rail on an AXMC?

The 16" in A.I. Brown Cerakote are just in. Some people have had questions about the differences in length: The AX Rifles (short or MC) can fit either the 13" or 16" handguards. The AX Chassis only fits the 15" (which is longer than the OEM AX chassis handguard). The longer handguards give you more 'rail-estate' to work with and look great.

Here is a photo of a AIAX Short Action with a 16" Hammer Rail Handguard, 3 slot Maxim Pic Rail and MLOK Grip Panels. The extra length in the 16" feels very balanced.

Looks great. Really hoping you guys, or somebody makes an entire bottom piece that has the ARCA come all the way back to the mag well. The major complaint from many of the AX shooters I know is that very thing. The hand guard forces the rifle to ride up higher on a bag or barricade and it would be nice to have it flattened up all the way back to the mag well like some of the other top chassis out there.
There’s defiantly a market for it, if you build it they will come! ?

That’s what I would like too. The Vision Chassis is my hope for that. They were here in the US last week so I’m hoping they’re setting up a US distributor. Not sure on price yet. Based on it being $1120 EUR that would put us right around $1500 hopefully.

OMG that is sexy!!! That is exactly what I need. Got a link or anything to them? Never heard of them and didn’t see anything on Google.
Cheers.

****edit**** nevermind. Found them through that IG handle. I want one!!!

Sorry to jack your thread @Michael Victor. Taking our conversation offline.

On a more related note, is there any chance you could do a 16” hand guard for the AX chassis? I have an idea for a shorty 223 and would love the chassis to run to the end of the barrel.

The way the AX is designed it's not really possible to have a single dove-tail rail run all the way from the magwell to the muzzle. However I don't think it's big problem, RRS makes an dovetail plate that acts as a barricade stop well enough.

I have the Victor handguard and I'm leaving the RRS plate on mine for that very reason. It'll act like a barricade stop, plus I actually like using it for my tripod.

The closest you're going to get to that is the new AXSR rifle. It looks like Euro Optic is already prepping their store for some inventory on these as they have an across the board price drop on the AXMC and a section for AXSR rifles (not the entire kit) that's awaiting inventory.

BTW these full arca bottom handguards look fantastic. I'm glad Victor Co went with a 16".

Actually our 15" AX Chassis HR1 is really 16" (15.9") - We called it 15" to differentiate it but maybe we should revise that. Thanks for asking!

The problem with that is that it has you sitting further away from the barricade. Ideally I think you want to be as close as you can and many shooters drive the mag well into the barricade for added support. With thy RRS handguard replacement or even the regular handguard you’re sitting a lot higher off the surface of the barricade especially if you use a game Hager or similar bag.
Don’t get me wrong, I really love your products. I rocked the viper skins on my AR for years. Just hoping AI or somebody can make that change as it’s the single biggest thing that I hear among other AX shooters.

You'll need to look at the AI Obsession chassis if you want to get flush against the mag well.

I have! That is the one I was referencing above but did not name it. There are many AI shooters who have taken notice of it and we all hope Sam can get the production going on it. Just surprised nobody else has got to it yet.

Yep I completely understand what you are driving at. Unfortunately the AX and many of the newer chassis systems weren't designed to allow a single rail from mag well to muzzle due to the way the handguard attaches to the chassis.

The Obsession chassis looks very interesting, I love being able to modify systems for personal use. The other thing you might want to consider it simply de-bonding your receiver and popping it in to an MPA chassis. There are a number of people who have done it with great success!

That has also been a thought however o thought the MPA was only for the AT and not the AX?

The AT and AX actions are identical. The AW has the same footprint as well, just doesn’t have the 6 lug and QuickLoc barrel change.

The reason no one would de-bond an AX and put it into an MPA is you’d literally be lighting $2000 on fire. Better to sell the AX and buy a fixed-stock AT to de-bond.

My chassis uses either the AT or AX buttstock and grip panel, so it would be up to the user to decide which route to take. It could be fixed or folder, AT thumbhole, AT pistol grip, or AX buttstock depending on preference and budget.

Correct. But I’d still have to debond my AX to fit into your chassis.

I know that there aren't any currently in stock but would it be possible to see a sage green on a sage green AX? Disregard if they haven't been available for pictures, just very curious how close they get.

taking off the plastic gets you pretty low and stable on a bag toward the mag? Not sure why it is important tho... depends on balance of the rifle....

The most popular AI Green is Sage and our green is pretty damn close- hard to tell much of a difference.

Just wanted to say thank you to Victor Company, I ordered a new handguard for my new AXMC in black and it was shipped within 2 hours! Already having one in Sage Green (friend took it for his AXMC) means I already know it will be perfect quality.
