    And since Schiff seems to think that he is just going to investigate and accuse... well, his party was warned that there are two sides to that coin.

    I think 99% of the people in congress are there to serve themselves, not we the people. As far as Gowdy goes, he is not w/o fault. However, I do believe the guy really does care about the rule of law. I also believe he left congress because of the inability of the legislative branch to do any real oversight of the justice dept.

    gowdy understands why it is so hard to get anything done on the judiciary committee. They have no power for any action, that rests with the doj. It's the main reason everyone sits in front of the mic and lies. So how many bills did he write to fix this ? People openly defy subpoena's and do not give all information regarding the situations....its classified bro. When they go to the doj, they just look at them funny.

    When his buddy chaffetz ? went to the AG on clinton, he was told a big NO on everything. The problem with gov in general, is when they violate laws...well its up to the gov(themselves) to bring action....and we all know they are on the same team. BUT if/when they deem WE have violated the law, there going to bury you ten times over.

    I'm not sure how much power to give them, but I would at least let them throw people in jail..with the general population until they agreed to obey the law. I do realize both party's would be abusing this...but as long as they are eating their own, I'll just bring some popcorn.

    It's rather amusing how politicians/officials are supposed to have good character/morals/integrity etc, when in fact none of them do. They can say anything they want, but their actions speak the truth.

    All the hearings they have now...have classified parts that we cannot see. WE the people rely on the media..cough cough...to have our backs. We tend to think, well...its only the management, but no bottom rung fbi agent etc ever comes forward either.

    And now to find out barr was behind all the crap at ruby ridge ???? Trump just lost me forever. I have drawn my line in the sand. No more 25d level chess hopes like some guys believe. He is an idiot.

    I sent Email to my representative and a senator. Basically said that if they vote Yes for the garbage continuing resolution today that I will remain on the Republican role but I will vote for anyone else in the next primary. IF they survive the primary that I will vote democrat in the election.
    I told them I elected them to represent the people not the party or their wallet. This bill puts more money into foriegn countries security than our own.
    I just assume get on with the program than being ass fucked by them slowly

    He was NOT only behind it as US Attorney General at the time....He done pro bono work to write the argument to defend the killers.

    Barr received a routine questionnaire from the Judiciary Committee asking him to disclose his past work including pro bono activities “serving the disadvantaged.” The “disadvantaged” that Barr spent the most time helping was an FBI agent who slayed an Idaho mother holding her baby in 1992. Barr spent two weeks organizing former Attorney Generals and others to support “an FBI sniper in defending against criminal charges in connection with the Ruby Ridge incident.” Barr also “assisted in framing legal arguments advanced… in the district court and the subsequent appeal to the Ninth Circuit,” he told the committee.
