Chalk one up for the dogs

No details in the story. Was he cuddled to death by golden retrievers? Annoyed to death by some shitty little chihuahuas? Or ripped to pieces by German shepherds?

Hate to say it but the state will probably end up euthanizing the dogs. In their mind, if they killed once (even if it was righteous), they'll kill again when it isn't righteous. Regardless, youre going to have to fight me if this were my dog. You best euthanize me first.

Had this happened in certain states, absolutely. They aren't looking at charges for the homeowner as of now, per the article.
 
This happened in my county, maybe 6 or 7 miles from me. If anything happens to those dogs, it will be State or Feds, not local. The Sheriff here is a good one, and I know he has been inundated with calls and emails in support of the dogs and the home owners.

Hi,

The shit reality is that it doesn't matter that the Sheriff/Local Gov will "go after" the dog or its' owner...

The civil lawyers most definitely are going to do just that.

Think about it....When a trained Police K9 actually bites a suspect in which 10 Police saw him shoot someone...that suspect breathes the word K9 lawsuit and gets on average 25k USD.

Now take that lawsuit mentality and watch what happens in this case.

I usually don't read the news article and don't know why I did but it states that the dogs were seized....if they scooped up my dog(s) - I no longer own any dogs- while I was not home, a jailbreak would be imminent. No way I would let them take them from me. The dude had active arrest warrants out.... :rolleyes: .....how do you not know there are dogs in a house? The criminal mind isn't so sharp sometimes...

that was better than a fairy tail story that dirty nasty crook was killed by the good dog defending his home and master and his masters family hope they treated him or her to a nice steak with a bone after wards . got to love dogs . Shame they did not a pack of those dogs lol .

I want a video!! Or at least autopsy photos. Doggo needs his shots updated, IVIG if they do that for dogs for hep C, and then huge ass bone and filet.
