    Fuck those assholes.

Supply and demand can be a bitch.

Supply and demand is one thing, price gouging is another. In 2013 on the weekend morning following a shooting I ordered 20 Pmags from CTD for $10 each. On Monday they cancelled my order and listed the same mags for $100 on their site. Fuck them forever.

Yep, $600 per thousand on the 77 grain match is up $150 from last weekend according to sites I have searched. I still kept my favorites from when powder and ammo went shy under Obama. Those are hanging in there at “normal” prices so far. I’ll never run out of shotgun and pistol powder however.

I just ordered some ammo less than 1 hour ago, not from them because my normal supplier has been out for two weeks now.
Funny, because I wouldn't buy from ctd if they were giving it away free.
I do have atleast 1 scruple left, they are not on my list for consideration
    For reasons already stated above.
    Fuck em.
    Scratched off my list permanently.

Fuck Cheaper than Dirt. There was a store not far from where I live and I remember what they did during the big magazine run a few years ago. They were charging $40 and $50 for 30 round PMags. If anyone on this board still shops there they should be ashamed of themselves.

There is a lot wrong with stupid ass people

If people were not so fucking dumb, CTD would be out of business already
I can only figure some stupid fuck is buying at these prices and that is why CTD is still here

That is my point if they can get from from people that are willing to pay the prices then so be it........I wouldn't because I already have a few thousand rounds I bought here and there when prices were sane.

Meh they're stupid. People buying from them are stupider.

But there's some serious misappropriation of the word "gouging" in this thread.

A few thousand? Is that all?? Who is the unprepared asshole that only has a few thousand rounds? Go be poor somewhere else.

I remember factory Glock mags going for $100 each in '94 after the AWB was enacted. Now I'm a mag hoarder ?

I’ll bet that Dicks wishes that they still sold ARs about now... :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:
Dont give them any credit. Those smug virtue-signaling POS are sitting around congratulating themselves on keeping evil black rifles out of the hands of the peasants right now.

I dont get it. Theres still ammo out there. Prices are inflated but not to the point where anyone should pay $1/round for shitty 55gr.

    People are like cows

Have you ever watched cows? One goes moOo and walks a little to the right away from the herd, then another sees and goes moOo and follows, then before you know it 50 cows have all moved to the right and are all following each other

The cows do it for protection from predators, but why the fuck do people do it?

I have learned that herds of people are less intelligent than herds of cows.

Yes there is ammo out there at somewhat normal prices still, there is no real shortage
but shit if this keeps going I might just have to start selling...

So glad i bought a case of AK ammo a couple months ago for $220.

Hmmmmm , Maybe if other businesses would catch on to this and raise the price of toilet paper , then there might be some FUCKING Toilet paper on the shelves. Everybody screams "no gouging prices" and then can't figure out why x product is nowhere to be found.

On the bright side, I actually paid less than I did from my usual supplier
    and no subscription necessary.
The subscription does nothing for me
If they can't produce or tell me how long it will be.
I was willing to wait a little if I knew.
    Oh well, no big deal.

Last week I had a discussion with a co-worker about price fixing a government meddling.
    The subject was milk.
I contended for deregulation. He contended regulation protects the consumer from price gouging.
Long story short, I proved to him in a totally free market, he could buy his milk straight from the farmer. Which is good for the farmer and consumer.....but not the government and Walmart.

    The food and drug administration
Would have cow if they did that.

Yes, there are laws in the US about selling un-pasteurized dairy. But, I think the point is that in a "free market economy" there would be no interference from the FDA...
