child trafficking Houston

I am interested in volunteering to help fight human trafficking in Texas.

However, I am having a hard time finding a group that wants anything but my money.

I have 13 years of law enforcement, former full time SWAT, federal narcotics taskforce, current first line supervisor to more than 600 employees.

I feel I can offer more than money, and something big seems to be pulling me in to help....BUT NO ONE SEEMS TO WANT IT!!!

yeah, they have nothing in Houston even though its the largest human trafficking hub in the USA.

And they don't seemingly want help, they sound like they are more interested in expanding their business. I hope im wrong.

They wanted me to like them on facebook....thats it.

Its pretty frustrating finding an organization to give my time to. I want to do something, and no one wants help...just money.

I may just consider starting my own group, because I have an overwhelming force driving me to do something.

Contact the U.S. C.P.B./I.C.E./H.S.I. field offices in Texas or U.S. Marshal Service as you likely know recently conducted a recovery operation in Georgia. *Perhaps a lateral transfer into an agency could be in your future on a law enforcement level. At the very least they know of and work with some Legitimate Organizations and could likely refer you towards them.

I struggle internally and spiritually with this.
my reaction as a man and a father is that its a good time to go law abiding citizen.

I know that is wrong and I dont.

My church works with organizations here in Denver.
We support a group that helps the LEO crews.
we also support recovery houses where victims are taken to get physically healthy, mental health help, and anything else they can do to help them out.

nothin pisses me off more than abuse of an innocent child.

I might end up doing this. I have a meeting with both candidates running to be my boss to see what their stances are on the issue.

It's almost like most of the people "fighting" child trafficking are just scammers who have to create an illusion to create a need for donations.

In your case consider (1) get a private investigator license and offer discounts to parents looking for missing children. (2) teach an abduction prevention class for parents and children. Saving a child from abduction is just as good as rescuing one who has been abducted. (3) Learn the martial art of your choice to the black belt + level then teach a children's class.

Approach your current employer with your desire and an awareness/education campaign. There are 600 people you could inform of the seriousness of the situation and some of the signs of trafficking. That is 600 pairs of eyes that can be opened to the reality that we live in, and 600 pairs of eyes that may have overlooked trafficking situations due to ignorance. Your employer may be interested in integrating human trafficking awareness into their corporate community relations programs.

trash left alive by a broken justice system paid for my tax payer dollars . Drop them in the ocean with a boat anchor tied to there foot . its a one time cost effective method and you never have to think about that trash hurting anyone ever again .

hahaha I would instantly lose my job! Its been made clear.

I've had my disagreements with you on inconsequential topics but you unquestionably have my respect for wanting to get after this.

At this point maybe you best options are extralegal.

Then perhaps a conversation with his boss as to why he would fire you for trying to bring awareness to probably the most vile and evil of actions a human can take against another is in order. I cannot imagine if your case is made in a respectful and well thought out manner why it would not garner support no matter what ears it falls upon. Unless the ears are tainted in some manner. These are children after all, the most innocent of victims there is.
