It will be great just to have a St. Louis team that can beat a Boston team.

Av's fan here, but I'm pullin for the blues. Somebody needs to spank the dirty right out of dear old #63.

Blues look tuned up in the first period. Boston a bit sluggish. I grew up as an Orr fan. Hoping for a good series.

Just one helluva game! The Blues ended up with a few stupid penalties that cost them dearly.

I'm from Massachusetts so.....


I don't really care about hockey, but reigning football / baseball / hockey champs has a nice "ring" to it....

Penalties will be the death of us in this series. I think every game will be close but for the blues to win thye need to not give any power plays out. I think we end up going 7 games and the right now 50/50 chance of who takes it.

Caps fan, pulling hard for the blues.

I’ve become a Caps fan over the years too. That’s due in part to my son being a hockey player & huge Ovechkin & Caps fan. A few years ago we had the opportunity to chat w/ Dennis Maruk (former Caps’ great). Maruk was very humble & a cool guy to shoot the breeze with.

Needless to say that I’m disappointed there won’t be a repeat this year. Anybody remember the brutal hit that Orpik laid on Mata a few years back?

I don’t have an interest in this year’s winnr, but I’d like to see Chara light up the gun w/ another incredible slap shot! I’m not asking for much, just 108+!

That last 10 min was rowdy. Love playoff hockey.

That looks like it would hurt. A lot. Ill give him props for walking off the ice under his own steam, - which is more than I can say for Olli Maata, LOL.

What’s really cool is he came back and sat on the bench just to support his teammates. That’s great leadership. There’s a reason he’s one of the most feared and respected players in the league.

Game 7, can't wait! Nothing better than playoff hockey.

Interesting Cup for sure but it was oblivious the Blues were a better team straight up hockey. Bruins relied too much on the powerplay. That late first period goal in game 7 squashed the Bruins. They had no desire left.

That injury report on Chara is crazy. Broken jaw in 3 places and then played a couple days later.
