As I had stated in another thread, we happened to have been in Seattle for a few hours, last week. (Family Reunion/stopover) I saw this on the road, and couldn't believe my eyes. Had to grab a few shots, just to show ya'll. Some here will be too young to get this.

And then my sister approached them, they told her they were here trying to start up distributorships, and they gave her a case of their wares, as samples. As seen here:

    Who'd try this?

Once again all the books / movies from a generation ago warning about the dystopian future devoid of hope & freedom are being used as instruction manuals in how to bring that about by the current Communist worshiping SJW generation. If you remember from the movie and book, Soylent was lots of other colors supposedly from "environmentally sustainable" plankton / algae then later on they came out with the "green" version as their new product line once "raw materials" were a bit scarce. Animal cruelty free!!!

Released in 1973 and starring Charlton Heston as a cop.

Soylent Green is set in 2022, a future dystopia in which the planet is plagued by overcrowding, pollution and resource depletion. To cope with the problem the government has set up euthanasia centres for the elderly where they can watch stock footage of the now extinct forests and animals as self-administered poison slowly course through their veins.

[SPOILERS!] The only foodstuff available in mass quantities is “Soylent Green,” tasteless green cubes which the government says are made of plankton. Of course it isn’t made of plankton: as everyone knows by now “Soylent Green is people!” It seems that the government has found a non-wasteful way to recycle all those depressed pensioners who frequent the euthanasia centers! In the movie Charlton Heston plays a cop who inadvertently uncovers the truth and dies at the end, trying to tell the people the truth.

The movie is based on a 1966 science fiction novel titled Make Room! Make Room! by Harry Harrison. Today Soylent Green may be fondly remembered by science fiction fans in part because movies became dumber in the decades that followed. The reality though is that Soylent Green gives new meaning to the phrase “loosely based on”. In the novel Soylent Green wasn’t people at all - it really was seaweed.

Maybe it's a subtle message from the SJW's to all the old white Christian Trumpkins . That or really bad marketing .

It's hard to find here too, so I buy it when I see it and freeze it for special occasions.

holy shit.......their company looks like a fucking meth lab......plastic sheeting in an abandon wharehouse...totally legit...and their CEO looks like a fucking serial killer, im pretty sure he didnt blink once in that entire video.....

im sure the FDA would love their food storage techniques......leaving open containers with rats around is sanitary...right?

I'm surprised to learn it doesn't contain any soy

Correction: in the video it didn’t show soy as any of the principal ingredients. On the website it says the protein is from soy. I’d actually be curious to taste what this shit is like

That weirdo is definitely on the spectrum and that video — coupled with the fact that they were able to crowdfund $800k and that people are actually buying that shit — is ironclad proof that millennials are dipshits and mankind is doomed.

I remember that movie because it's the first time I ever heard the phrase Roddy uttered, "I came here to do two things; kick ass, and chew bubblegum, and I'm all out of bubblegum."

Not all of us that are grouped in the Millennial gen are doomed dipshits.

THAT's where I saw this. Yeah, I remember the movie, but this shit is for real and almost as nasty. It's made by kids in street clothes in an empty garage. Yes, rats were running around while they were filming it. It's just bulk po

I remember watching this when I was younger and thinking "fuck, I'm not alone!"

I'm glad to see everyone grasping why I had to put this here. When I/we were standing on the sidewalk, and I saw this truck,,,, I just HAD to get a pic of it for ya'll to see. Then my sister goes up and asks, and they gave her a case of the 'chocolate' flavor. I just couldn't believe my eyes.

    Hence those other pics.

Coming soon, to a store near you!!!! How does THAT make you feel?
