Just for ArmyJerry

This, I don’t get. I see this a lot. “Packaged” this way, it’s $0.28 per round. We can all buy the same thing in 250 or 500 piece lots for $0.25 per round. Is the drum worth $500.00 ? What is it I don’t get ?
The frontier brand cartridges go for around .30 a piece, so this is actually a savings of a couple of hundred bucks for that particular brand of ammo.

I buy it because I'm poor and it's in my price range.?

I've stocked up literally thousands of rounds of cheap 55gr FMJ, 147grFMJ, etc. I dont shoot it that much. I just have it tucked away so I have a good volume of ammo on my budget. Better than none I figure.

Now that I have the FMJ stuff squirreled away any ammo I buy now is good stuff. I guess it's a "fallback".

I will say, I have rifles set up for that ammo. Just basic, run of the mill rifles with basic optics zeroed for the cheap ammo. I upgrade said rifles and ammo stashes as funds allow. I'm not necessarily poor, but with a family of three I have to budget my gun stuff. At this point in my life my guns are my only hobby that I spend money on. So the cheap FMJ is useful to me and i shoot it enough to know where it shoots in those rifles i shoot it in.

once you get enough bulk combat ammo start reloading for for quality long range. Ill be homest havent shot store bought ammo in 30 years, I just started buing the 175 FGMM, got enough now I will start shooting a lttle bit of my stock just to blueprint the round.
