I promised Tyler that when I had a chance to set this up, that I would give a full review. I installed the level and verified my crosshairs were plumb with a plumb bob line 100 yards away. Installation was super easy, no need to remove the scope, tightened to 15 in lbs and the level is super solid and looks good. I took my rifle and shot it at 600 yards and without looking at the level, I tried to determine if I was canted and I was. One thing abt this level that I think puts it above others to me is the stainless button under the bubble so u can immediately tell if you are centered, I really like that feature. All in all, I was well pleased, very easy to install, easy to use, looks good and quality is spot on. IMHO MK machining level is good to go and enjoy the snipershide discount, quality service and fast shipping.

Looks good I didn’t know about the discount. Any chance you can shoot that over?

Got 20+ inches of snow here, can't do a dang thing. So, how about some killer deals. "snowedin" will get you 12% off at mkmachining.com for the next 3 days. We've got Razor Gen IIs, Viper Gen IIs, Ares ETRs, etc in stock along with a bajillion throw levers and scope levels. Make my cabin fever less miserable! :D

Try this one that Tyler Kemp, co-owner of MK Machining put up yesterday. He also has a standing 10% off for Hide members but I can’t remember the code right now. In any case 12% beats 10% off. Give Tyler something to do! :)

I installed one on my RPR / Vortex Viper. I really like it. I agree with all the points made in the OP.

I find the stainless button makes confirming level very easy. I can easily spot it with my weak eye while staying on the rifle / scope.

I also found that when I thought I was level... I wasn't. So, it's a great tool to calibrate your positioning behind the rifle.

The MKM low profile level is a "nice bit of kit." It's made well. You'll notice it's a high-quality piece of machining as soon as you hold it.

My install (didn't have to remove the scope):

I've been eyeing this level. Looks great. I love my current accuracy 1st level on my current scope but they dont make a 35mm one. And I want to get a Mark 5 and put this one on it....so this one might fit the bill.

Anyone have a POV pic of the MK rail mounted level?

Are you looking for something different than the POV shown in post #7 above?

Edited to add: @Dthomas3523, My apologies sir! I see you are specifically asking about the rail mounted level and NOT the tube mounted one pictured here. I am confused!

@Dthomas3523, here is a picture I found on the web. This is an earlier version of one of his polymer printed ones but it is very similar in size and mounting to what is currently shown on the mkmachining website. The aluminum billet one also seems to have added the stainless button to help align the bubble discussed above.

Hopefully this helps some and makes up for my earlier reading comprehension brain fart. Cheers!

Thanks for the orders guys. Everything should ship this week, then I'll be gone at SHOT. Shipments will still happen but phone support, email support, and forum chatting like this will be delayed.

We should have inventory for everyone, and we have more batches of parts on the way!

Don't waste your $$ on the printed rail mounted level. I couldn't get it to read level when the rifle was level. Maybe their aluminum one is better.

I already did sometime last year. It wasn’t my favorite. I’m assuming the aluminum one is totally different.

If you had issues with a printed rail mount, send me a message with your shipping info. Have recently revised design to improve them, and now print them from a much stiffer carbon fiber material I get extruded. These combine for much better performance and I'm certain your experience will be more positive.

That being said, the billet ones are badass.

Got to say about the same for me both the bubble levels will force my eyes to break from scope to see the level. Only upside to the tube mounted is I can also see my elevation at the same time
