Any idea of the price? Possibly cheaper than reloading and loosing Lupua brass at a match.
Satterlee just posted a video showing an SD of 6.6 over 5 shots. Don’t know how repeatable that is, but that’s give up reloading and shoot factory ammo low.
~$0.60/ shot vs $1.50/shot? Not worth giving up reloading for.
Or maybe you're a slow reloaderSell the brass. And my time might be worth more than yours...
Or maybe you're a slow reloader
So far they've been really good for me only shot a couple groups so far and ther were both in the.2s. Also sds were low and velocity was 3060!!
26" 4groove 7.5t bartlein
Idk 40 cents a piece. Maybe if you're luckyShot up 2 boxes today and man it shoots good. 5 shot grps in the .2s a couple 3 shot grps in the .1s. the gun likes 108s about the same but these seem more consistent on 5 and 10 rd groups.
Also my fb is .150 some of them are lightly engraving so they have little to no jump in my barrel.
So im up to 2 boxes of that brass now.. What will that stuff be worth? (once fired Peterson)
LargeIs that small primer or large primer Peterson?

1) Im in no way insinuating Prime isnt worth the price or everyone should be reloading. Not to derail the thread, but counting the initial outlay to purchase my current equipment (Co-Ax, and RCBS press, giraud trimmer, A&D scale with autothrower, and one set of dies) and ignoring the money I've spent on things I don't use anymore (Chargemaster, old scales, etc), I need to load about `1666 rounds before the costs ($2700 worth of Prime ammo and $1700 worth of reloading equipment plus $1k worth of handloads at $0.60 ) and "cost per trigger pull" break even, but to actually get that true handloading cost down to $0.60 a round, I need to load over 200,000 rounds
1) Im in no way insinuating Prime isnt worth the price or everyone should be reloading.
2) Having said that, the post i initially replied to said "stop reloading" insinuating they already had a reloading setup
3) Im not sure I follow your math - for a $1700 setup, you need to shoot ~2800 reloads (at a savings of ~$0.60/rd) to pay for your reloading setup. After that point, youre $0.60 per round loaded ahead vs buying factory ammo.
reloading setup cost = $1700 (which is not needed to produce 5 SD ammo - same results can be had from a $400 setup at the cost of time - which for me is not a cost as I enjoy reloading as a hobby)
Prime cost (minus selling the brass) = $1.15
Reloading CPR = $0.55
Savings per round reloaded = $0.60
$1700/$0.60 = 2833 rounds to pay for the reloading equipment
