That's an easy fix get everyone who has and uses it to drop it in protest I am sure out of 6 to12 million gun owners you could get 80 thousand who may have that exact problem who would be willing to drop apple I know I did years ago after finding music to fill there product and that apple download service thing kept erasing my stuff like every other day I am still not a fan of micro soft that adds more and more stuff on my pc with out my consent every time there is a update , and already removed my accounts with Facebook and twitter for there business practices of leaking private information then lying about it like that makes it better .

iPhones are perfectly acceptable when planning and executing violent "protests", looting, assaults, and murders. As long as you use it for non firearm related uses its perfectly acceptable. Fuck Apple. Their phones are overpriced pieces of shit anyway.

How did gun owners,a largely law abiding demographic with plenty of spending and voting power, find ourselves lower than almost any other group out there? Corporations fear the wrath of teen girls, weed smokers, gays, transsexuals, soccer moms, marxist blm et al.

Corporations : “Gun owners are pissed” 🤣🤣🤣🤣 “No worries, they have plenty of lube. Bend them over” 😳

The list of gun industry companies that have fucked us is long, yet gun owners as a group always give them a pass. What do you think Apple is going to do? They know they can just bend us over and we will hand them the lube. “Thank you sir can I have another”

Was literally talking about this the other night with my 13 year old daughter as we discussed the idiocy of the apparent 46 words for sexual preference now...we were trying to figure out literally how many individuals actually "identified" as some of these retarded designations. We figured some had to be <1,000 in a country of >300M, yet they are getting articles written about them, forcing people to use made up pronouns to describe them, etc.

There's fucking 100M gun owners in this country and we continually just take it up the ass. The only explanation I can think of is that we actually have jobs and lives to worry about where your average pothead if you take his weed away has nothing left and so fights like hell.

Gunbroker app works on my new s20 phone, you should be able to install the app with without playstore.
    Not sure on apple phone.

The Gunbroker app was removed from the Apple App Store a while ago. The app is working on my iPhone but bidding can not be done on the app. It has gone back and forth working not working after iOS updates.

Weed smokers and a lot of other demos have jobs. Gun owners are narcissistic. They think “boycott” is some new fangled sandwich. We are riddled with folks like Wayne LaPierre, Dana Loesch, Black Rifle Coffee et al who are just concerned with making money off us.

Day after day I see another company screw us over and the next day some guns owners are pushing their product like it never happened. That’s not because we have jobs and no one else does. That is what we tell ourselves to gloss over it. “Oh Im a good person because I respect a company’s right to fuck me in the a$$ and not succumb to cancel culture”. 😳

We better start learning from our enemies and using their weapons and tactics or we will end up a footnote in American history. We are well on our way already......

Whatever, I can still do it in browser on my phone. Actually works even better. I'm more annoyed that GB will be collecting tax come January 1.

    Dump apple......

Never understood why someone would pay 1400 for a phone that will be obsolete in a year.....guess it's nice to have money to throw around.

    Doc

Most who buy phones every couple of years really don't have the money. I've seen it time and time again. Folks spending money they don't have. Credit cards or finance through their carrier for 5 years.

The system pretty much forces you to switch phones every 5-6 years, if not sooner. The phones becomes too slow for new operating systems, new apps don't work, not enough memory for pics, videos etc. I pretty much stay with my phones until they start to be a huge pain the ass and for the most part it works.

I do have to say I like apple products. I was seriously contemplating switching to Android last year. I played with my Dad's android but decide to stay with apple. It's just so nicely integrated. I do agree that it's overpriced though. But, no-one forced me to pay it. Free market. Although, both apple and google are become too big to fail monopolies. I do not like that a bit.

In the name of "convenience" and "It just works" many people have given over almost complete control of their information technology infrastructure, computing devices and communications to giant mega corporations that dictate what you can and can't do on your "own" devices and what you can and can't install...

Most of the young generation fully buy into this mobile first and cloud only stuff. It seems only the old stuck in the mud people actually still own general purpose computers and have their own data and can install their own OS...

LOL I think the opposite, the android menu is way better than apples mad menu.
The battery is not user replaceable so in two years you are screwed regardless of phone.

This is not a bad thing, per se. Yes it sucks that AAPL and GOOG want to control the world, but...

Any time you download and use an app from one of their app stores, you're giving those companies telemetry. You're letting them track anything you do on those apps. It's not a permission you can even see, let alone block.

Let that sink in for a sec.

Apple and Google know all about your arms buying, selling, and intent to buy. They will gladly turn that data over to anyone that wants it, for a small fee, warrant or not.

Lose the app and deal direct with GB through Firefox or Brave.

If you are able to keep your phone charged in the 30% to 100% range most of the time, you can probably get around 4 or so years out of your battery.
What really kills it fast is always letting it really run down to empty or near empty.

Most folks I know these days are generally getting about 4 years out of flagship phones before they need to be replaced.

Apple has been better than others about not handing info over or unlocking phones for the gov/LEO

I had android for the past decade and just switched to Apple. Imo Apple is the least bad in between them and google about spying/selling data.

I run a VPN, I have all their permissions possible turned off. Not a whole lot one can do besides that.

I don’t think banks would be able to get away with it. I know a few tried years ago, right after sandy hook and it blew up in their face.
I’ve been a member with BofA for pretty much my entire adult life. Around Feb or March of 2013 when things were very hard to find, I Happend to purchase a complete upper from a dealer In Texas. (Off of gunbroker ironically). No serialed firearm, just a part. BofA flagged the transaction and would t let it go through. Dude called me and sent me the proof and I walked into my local branch and had one of the bankers verify that yes, they froze the transaction but after 45 minutes of calling corporate numbers she couldn’t give me a definitive answer as to why. I immediately told her to cancel all of my accounts righ then in there. As she tried to talk me out of it, the branch manager came over to find out what was going on. I explained it to her and politely told her to cancel everything that I had with them (several savings, kids college savings accounts, retirement accounts, all of it. Said just consolidate it all and write me a cashiers check. Long story short she fixed it and got the transaction unfrozen. I told her that I really didn’t wanna have to deal with moving all of my shit to another bank but this was a line in the sand for me, and if anything like it ever happens again I’d be gone. I remember hearing several others on various forums that went through the exact same thing. Some got it fixed, some left their banks. Needless to say if any banks tried pulling that shit on any kind of large scale you know every backwoods farmer/hill jack good ol boy will be leaving their banks. I don’t think they can afford to lose that large of a scale of their customers.

Last year when I went to Germany, we used all the extra money to pay off all debt besides our one car payment which will be paid off in March next year. Financed for 4 years paid off in a little over two years.

My cell service is through cricket(uses ATT networks). Never have any issues. Paying less than 100 month for 4 lines. I have a cheap ass phone because it does what I need it to.

I can honestly say, I only have monthly bills now. It's nice to not have to worry about CC statements and such.

I have a phone I got at WalMart and pay for every minute I use so I don't use many. usually text.
    It does Gunbroker.
Maybe it is the server? I don't know.
I have a CC but pay the entire amount on it monthly. Don't use it much either. Cash.

Just a tidbit on apple vs Google. Apple is capable of (and you agreed to) disabling and removing any app on your phone. As far as I've seen, Google does not have the same abilities. If they can't do it live, the next update can wipe it.

You don't own the phone or the apps, this is true for a lot of tech.
