This is just despicable. The poachers should be shot on sight......every last one of them.

All this shit going on in Africa makes me wonder what it would take to spin up a one-of-a-kind adventure company where guests get to fuck shit up with an all-inclusive buffet of military hardware.

SJW’s would not see this as a cause because they could not cry “fascist” or “racist” or “old white man”. Nor would they ever admit that guns can serve a useful purpose in civilian hands. Poachers and SJW’s should be hunted on safari.

A very good friend of mine has been to South africa twice in the last 3 years hunting. Last year the ph told him that if they see any poachers he doesnt have to get involved at all , if he doesnt want to, they will handle them.
His reply was “ will the taxidermist mount them fuckers”.

Some sub Saharan countries have been shooting poachers on site for years. It’s a patch type fix in a place where people don’t value life including their own. The real fix is to set up hunting programs that support the local communities and completely devalue illicit animal products. Hard task. Poaching is horrible in the US as well and very little is done about it.

Africa is full of natural resources and the animals are but one of them.

They could be creating some income by managing their resources but instead they have bought in to more outside control.

Initially that control was overt colonial rule now its covert subversion by playing on feelings to get Africa to make decisions not in their best interest.

Africa should tell the world to fuck off they will manage their own resources.

Before they do so they have to realize they can be their own worst enemies.

All this poached ivory ends up in Asia, much in China, beware your enemies that speak of "helping" you.

The conservative estimates are 100-300 killed, many researchers believe the real death toll was over 700 which would pass Wounded Knee by a significant margin. Arguing about whose massacre was bigger is pointless when they both prove the point.

For deer and predators that have been "reintroduced" where they don't belong it is completely different.
When .gov takes tax money and pays "sharpshooters" to shoot over populated deer then takes more tax dollars to keep people from shooting them, I couldn't care less about people "poaching" them.
When .gov puts wolves (accidentally the wrong breed that is a lot bigger than what was there 100s of years ago) and people shoot them to protect livestock, I couldn't care less. Same goes for elk/bears/etc that are "reintroduced" and causing economic or physical harm.
Tree huggers and a lot of hunters are all for .gov forcing other people to raise their livestock.

You have not seen economic or physical harm until you have seen elephants raid native gardens and villages.
People are paid to kill them. People are fined for poaching them. Exact same situation.

I’m not a fan of wolves and think eradication was the second best result of westward expansion.

Reintroduction is not the stupidest act of the white race but it’s close.

Enlightening. If villagers are "poaching" to protect themselves, I couldn't care less either.

Normally poachers are outsiders. But locals are not apt to get too upset with folks who kill the raiders and give them the meat.
I am surprised to see so many elephants rotting.
The ones I have seen were stripped to the bone instantly.
