I beg to differ.

Poland has been steadfast since 2001 and truly appreciates what Reagan and John Paul as well as Lech Walesa did to end Soviet rule.

I think as having most recently experienced communisms worst poland and the former east bloc countries will do the most to save Europe.

Love those dudes and they should be supported.

I love Poland. Been there many times. The people are awesome. Extraordinarily friendly. Food is incredible - even the blood sausage. Women are gorgeous. I prefer ones that have larger boobs but to each his own. Everyone enjoys going to the main squares in the evening and hanging out.

and except for dealing with some unfortunate incidents in the local drinking establishments its a huge positive impact to the local economy to have a brigade or so of 18-22 year olds running loose with greenbacks.

$2 Billion invested in infrastructure while cutting the cost of a Brigade out of your own defense budget AND collecting 50 percent of the pay check from each service member in the local economy....should be a good return.

I'm going to agree with the others and be on the side of the Polish government seeing their $2B outlay as investment, not expense. Maybe the Poles are more financially sophisticated than you think?

I think all our troops in Germany need to be permanently re-deployed to Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, and Romania. You know, countries that have the stones to keep muslims out of Europe and can be counted on to fight if the Russians get frisky.
